My husband, genius that he is, cut the toe kick at the dishwasher on both sides, put magnets on that part of the toe kick. Voila, easy access to the dishwasher without having to remove the whole toe kick!! Genius!!

Kathi, nice. We didn't want a seam so we attached the whole length of toe kick (including across the dishwasher) with velcro.

I've used Velcro before but not been so fussy about seam/no seam.
