We have several four legged beasts and I am tired of keeping every thing covered up. Isn't there any material that can take the abuse? A: Please give claw covers a try. Our 15 year old cat adapted to them quite easily when we got a new couch. Yes, there is maintenance involved as their claws actually fall out altogether every 8 weeks or so.
