We founded Williams Partnership in 2004 and our name is key – we are partners in every sense of the word.  Husband and wife.  Mom and dad.  Partners in business.  As well, we build partnerships with each and every client, contractor, and consultant.  An architectural journey can be long, oftentimes challenging.  As your partner, we are by your side every step of the way.

After years honing our skills at some of the region’s most respected and accomplished firms, we built our own firm around the more personal, stewardship-centered way we want to work and live.

While Melissa brings to the partnership a talent for interiors and the shaping and flow of spaces, honed through her study of the fine arts, Joel brings to the partnership a practical, technical knowledge of construction and a love for craft and details, developed while building houses with his father, a third generation home builder. These talents are brought to bear on each individual project through the direct involvement of both partners.

> Melissa and Joel did a fantastic job on the design of our house and later the addition of our pool house. My wife and I love Cape Cod style architecture after spending lots of time in Chatham, MA. They did a great job of studying the traditional Cape Cod style going to the point of buying books and adding special touches that make our house truly unique. Although the aesthetics were great, more importantly we wanted a casual, very livable home. Melissa and Joel did a listened to how our family of 5 lives and translated that into the right plan.

> OVER the past 8 years my husband and I have employed Melissa and Joel Williams for various projects around our home.  Inspired to give our house a significant face lift, Joel (with gift for bigger vision) and Melissa, (with gift of detail) creatively and with great precision walked us through the REMODELING process making it a pleasant experience.  DURING THIS TIME we have revamped our kitchen, master bath, back porch, back yard, room into a tv/library, and most recently Melissa and I redecorated our lake home, each project with its own personality. Who manufactured the eyebrow window?

A: The window was custom fabricated by a local millwork shop that has a relationship with many contractors in our area. We recommend establishing a relationship with a millwork shop in your area for such specialty items.
