No TVs allowed in this room! :) A: I am a designer but focus on eye-level decor. Getting my clients to find a piece of artwork first (rather than last because then the art has to 'match' everything else that will one day be disposable.) I have more contemporary looks posted, and am trying to get permission to post some of my clients projects. I do all kinds of design and consult online. However, my best advice is to find some art you like and let it influence the items out of eye-level. Remember, that's what people see first! One time I had a client spend thousands of dollars on a sofa and buy a cheap picture. I was at a party (sitting on the pricey sofa) and realized how ironic it was that the room came off 'cheap' when people were sitting down.
