His design was true to the original style of the house, and yet made a reality of our vision to update and enhance the original. The kitchen was featured on the Lafayette kitchen tour. His detail work is extraordinary. I have heard of design professionals who are difficult to work with, but Doug is the opposite. He was very patient with us, and coordinated well with everyone else on the job (interior designer, contractor, subs). He is very efficient, which means that his fees were extremely reasonable. Cost varies depending on size and type of wood.
