> We are building a new small home in St. Paul. There have been many tear downs and rebuilds in the community that have cause concern, anger and frustration because the lots are small and the rebuild are huge. We ask Meghan to put together a home for us that has all of what we are looking for but is respectful of the character of the neighbor. The design that they presented to us was amazing. Our lot is only 40x120 and they were able to work everything we wanted, in a way that creates an open space, plenty of storage, wonderful professional kitchen, cozy front porch, master suite. We are very happy.

> We worked with Kell for 2 years before beginning a major remodel of our home.  The plans we took to our builder were complete and detailed, the builder had very few things to finalize with us before getting to work.  We choose Kell due to their willingness to work with us to meet our goal for our house.  We wanted our 50s home to continue to fit in in our neighborhood while adding space to meet our needs.  Now that the project is completed we have had neighbors comment on how if they hadn't seen the crews there they would have to study the house in order to notice the changes.  It was so well done!

**Q: Countertop** *(in Photo Questions)*

Are you going to tell us the name of the countertop?  Material is....granite?

A: It's called "Mystic Green" and yes, it is a granite.

This kitchen is beautiful.  The layout is very similar to my kitchen minus the island.   I'm thinking about adding an island like this but I don't want to make it too big so it overpowers the room. How big is the island in the picture? What are the room dimensions? Thank you.

A: The room is basically 14.5 feet by 12 feet.  The island is 3 feet by 6 feet.

A: You might want to take a look at "Forest Floor" by Benjamin Moore color \#1498.  
Another option is "Trailing Vines" by Benjamin Moore color \#1505.

A: Its only about 10" wide.  We designed it to organize children's art work behind a piece of framed glass.  The wine storage part was just a bonus.
