We did alternating rows of two different tile. Here are my notes on the tile: Above the Hood: Series: ANA 8x16 Color: Picasso H/F and 5/8x16 Color: Picasso H/F Pencil Backsplash: Series: ANA 3x6 Picasso H/F running bond, 5/8 x 12 Picasso H/F Pencil Series: SO Shape: Duo Color: Tantrum Tweed (It is a shimmery glass tile, almost looks cracked) It comes in a number of different colors and shapes. They should be able to make it for you. Just show them the photo. Wide enough to put books on it facing front. I have done one from a bathroom into a study too. That could fit magazines, bathroom spray, hand towels rolled up etc. Hope that helps.
