One of the first and BEST decisions we made was to work with Lisa O’Brien of Accent on Kitchens in North Hampton, NH. We started designing the kitchen with Lisa before the pandemic and even though it took over 15 months to complete our project she stuck with us to make sure the kitchen design stayed on tack and was completed correctly. > We wanted to design our house to have some areas age-in-place and ADA compliant . It turned out that Lisa was experienced in this area which was super helpful. She also gave us good advice on selecting an induction stove top and even what kind of pots and pans to buy! > During the installation of the actual cabinets she was just a phone call away and came right over to answer questions and make sure the install continued according to the design. The installers looked forward to working with her and having her on site. Lisa even went with us to help pick out the countertop and also was there for templating and installation. We had an issue with the first piece of granite we selected being damaged during shipment and Lisa helped us navigate selecting another! > One major issue that Lisa helped us out with was our kitchen sink. We had ordered a Blanco silgranit sink online and it arrived with cracks. The company replaced it quickly but unfortunately this one was also cracked. They refunded us our money and then we went with a local distributor. Another crack! At this point the countertop had been templated and installed awaiting the sink. I just wanted to cry! But....... Lisa to the rescue!! She had connections and found a stainless steel sink that would fit. Yay! Problem solved! > We now have a kitchen which we love! It has clean lines and lots of storage. The cabinets are of excellent quality built by Candlelight in natural cherry, the countertop, backsplash and windowsill are granite, the floor is cork and island top is oiled walnut. Other custom design features include compost bin mounted into the countertop, double wall ovens and a vertical wall mounted steam radiator. > Lisa and her personal touch made all the difference through the long months of our house renovation.
