> Thank you so much for the review! It was an absolute pleasure working with you!

**★★★★ — karen rogers, May 2022**

> We love our kitchen, finally!! A great job designing kitchen and materials used. But, the punch list, completed by us, had 18 items for completion. And, even though we paid for a dumpster, a pile of trash was left in house?? Once totally completed, we fell in love with our upgraded kitchen.

**Comment from Lincorp / Borchert:**

> Hello Karen,
> We really appreciate you taking the time to write this review. We're so glad that you're pleased with the design and your final kitchen! We always strive to have no punch list items, but nobody is perfect and sometimes there are items that need to be addressed. We were able to come in and complete the punch items and present you with your finished kitchen in a timely manor. As for the trash left in the house, we do apologize for the inconvenience. We finished the kitchen besides the touchups while you were on vacation. Some of our boxes and leftover materials got mixed in with stuff that was in the house when we started and we missed them before wrapping up. This wasn't intentional on our end. We were happy to come back to pick up that stuff once we learned that it was there though.
>
> Again, we appreciate your time and are glad that you're happy with your new kitchen! :)

> We used this company to rebuild our master bathroom. The quality of work and the design were excellent. This was a design and build project. Down to the studs and sub floor. The bathroom had previously been modeled for a person with major physical disabilities.
>
> Working with Ron, the owner and his teams was a pleasure. The design was a laid out by Krista and we worked with her on colors and selection of tiling etc All of this was done was done during the Covid timescale which made the keeping to timescale even more impressive. Masks were worn without issue. Ron ( the owner) checked every morning at the house when work was being done and any issues, all minor, were agreed at this time. The work was done to the promised timescale and the quality of the work was excellent.
>
> They are a very professional company and delivered what was promised . We could not have asked for a a better team

**Comment from Lincorp / Borchert:**

> David,

> You and Merle were so incredibly nice to work with and we're thankful that you gave us the opportunity to remodel your bathroom. Thank you for writing this very nice review for us! We're thrilled that you like your new bathroom and that you're experience with us was a positive one!

**★★★ — Frank Meinert, Jan. 2021**

> We chose Borchert for our master bathroom project after a good experience with a countertop project two years ago. They and their contractors do high quality work overall, but this time we were disappointed. Our project included new tile, countertops, and fixtures, but kept the overall layout, cabinets, and tub. We had already selected the countertops, so the only major design decision was the tile. We were presented with three choices for tile, and we selected the one that coordinated with the countertop material based on small samples that we were shown. As the tiles were installed, it was apparent that they were very plain except for dark spots that looked like dirt. I wish we had done more homework ahead of time, but then that is why we paid a design fee.
> The other issue was damage to our cabinets and wood door trim. The side of a cabinet frame was sawed off to make it fit after the new tile was installed, but the damage was far more than necessary and extended above the new tile. Ron provided a new plywood panel to cover the side of the cabinet, but I was left with a repair project installing the panel and some corner molding to cover the damage. The trim around the doors was dented, scratched, and marred in multiple spots, probably during demolition. This required repair and partial refinishing.
> After spending so much money, time, effort, and disruption, it’s disappointing that we can’t be more excited about the new bathroom.

> Contracted Lincorp/Borchert to install quartz counter top, sink, backsplash and faucet. Project was specked to take 3 days after countertop was cut and developed. Job went as specified, installers, tile worker and plumber were all expert at what they did, and job finished in 3 days. We are very pleased with the outcome, and would recommend this company to anyone looking to renovate their home.

**Comment from Lincorp / Borchert:**

> Thank you for the nice review! This made our day!

> We had the best experience with everybody at Borchert. Krista did a wonderful job helping us with the design, Jordan was great to work with and Ron stopped by to check on the production every step of the way. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of service and would recommend them to anybody.

> We contracted Borchert in 2016 3 years ago to upgrade our master bathroom. From the beginning of the professional project design to completion working with Borchert was a pleasure. Borchert handed all the planning, management, ordering and cleanup in a professional manner with the client’s feelings and interest as their number one priority. We are proud of the new master bathroom and show it off when we can.
> Borchert stands behind their workmanship with a one-year warranty. Borchert followed up one year after competition checking with us if there were any issues before closing the warranty. At that time there were no issues. Now it’s been 3 years unfortunately we discovered an issue with slight drywall water damage at the base of the shower door wall. Calling Borchert about this and asking for help they responded quickly with Ron the company owner coming out to inspect the issue and agreed something was not right from the very beginning and will open a new warranty ticket 2 years after the original warranty period ended. We are amazed that Borchert will work to fix the problem this long after the original warranty ended. Borchert definitely puts their clients first even years later and works hard to make sure of that. I highly recommend Borchert for any bathroom or kitchen remodeling projects, you will not be disappointed. Borchert is a very unusual company making sure the client is satisfied with the workmanship being top rated.

**Comment from Lincorp / Borchert:**

> Thank you so much for writing this review about your experience with us. It brings us great joy to see that you're happy with your remodeled bathroom and with our warranty service! We enjoyed working with you and Carol back in 2016 and would like to keep in touch with you in the coming years. Please let us know if there's ever anything that you need! We’ll be here for you.

> We're very pleased with the work on our kitchen and bath countertops, backsplash, and fixtures. Ronda's design consultation and efforts to locate materials and patterns were outstanding. The quality of the installation was excellent, and we especially appreciated the meticulous tile work. The finished product looks great. We appreciate the recommendation from our friends, and we would certainly recommend Borchert to others.

**Comment from Lincorp / Borchert:**

> Hi Frank,

> Thank you so much for the nice review. We also enjoyed working with you and Dorinda and are thrilled to see that you love your new tops, backsplash, and fixtures. I'll be sure to let Ronda know that you enjoyed working with her. She'll certainly be happy to hear that.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Vanity Mirrors are Stunning!** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the width of this Vanity I really like this look but am worried my 5' vanity is to short to achieve it with 2 12" cabinets on either end... Please advise.
Thank you
Colleen

A: Hello Colleen<

That vanity is 78" in total. It's a 21", a 36", and a 21".

Hope that helps!

**Q: Island Electric outlets** *(in Photo Questions)*

What brand and style are the outlets under the counter on the island, that is a really good idea

A: Thanks for the question. Those under counter outlets are called angle power strips and we typically get ours from Task Lighting.

**Q: backsplash info** *(in Photo Questions)*

Love the colors and design of the backsplash

A: Hello and thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, we don't know where the tile came from. The homeowner purchased it on their own and we installed it. What I can share is that it is a slate 4x4 tile. You may try a place like The Tile Shop, Virginia Tile, or Beaver Tile to see if they have something that would be similar. Best of Luck to you!

**Q: What is the cabinet stain color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the cabinet stain color?

A: The cabinets are a cherry species with a stain called Java and a black glaze. Bishop Cabinets is the name of the company that made them.

**Q: what colour did you use for the grout?** *(in Photo Questions)*

We put cream coloured porcelain tiles in our kitchen last year with white epoxy grout. Was told it would not stain. Wrong!! It has stained and looks horrible. My kitchen is mostly white. Counter has a little bit of grey in it. I want to have the grout redone with a darker grout that will not discolour but I worry it would not look nice. Any recommendations?

A: Hello Nancy,

The grout that we used for the tile backsplash is called TEC Power Grout Color: 910 Bright White. It was purchased from Virginia Tile in Sterling Heights. Our client kept her old flooring so I have no idea what the color of that grout on the flooring is.

As for recommendations, I would suggest getting a color sample of a grout that you like from a local tile shop and bringing it home to see how it looks with the lighting in your house.

**Q: Are there 2 different kind of pulls** *(in Photo Questions)*

Are there 2 different pulls?

A: The pulls are made by our bathroom vanity company called Bertch. We actually used 3 different sizes of this pull. Links for each can be found here: https://www.bertch.com/products/kitchen/hardware/detail/i277/ssp30/
https://www.bertch.com/products/bath/bath-vanities/hardware/detail/i422/ssp31/
https://www.bertch.com/products/kitchen/hardware/detail/i279/ss-p32/

Hope this helps!
