> We worked with Eileen to renovate our home in Palo Alto, CA.  She is pleasant to work with, fair, prompt, reliable, organized and creative. We had some tricky elements to our project that required creativity with the planning department, strong understanding of the rules of our town, and a potential range of different approaches and constraints that she worked around flawlessly. She was extremely patient with changing information, and although we ended up with a smaller scope project than originally planned, she was flexible and gracious through the process. We are very happy with the final product, and she helped make our dream home possible! Highly recommend!

They drafted multiple sets of plans for our home in San Francisco and helped us negotiate with our neighbors around a remodel that worked for everyone. We began with a very large remodel, but decided to scale way back to accommodate our neighbors. > Over the course of many projects you start to learn how Architectural Firms think, how and what they prioritize, how they bridge the gaps between their clients and their suppliers. Working with Eileen and Bill has been nothing but a positive experience. We found their approach to selection of materials to be driven not solely by aesthetics but by a passion to understand the history of the materials. We have visited suppliers in Italy together and they were eager to learn the history of stone, or terracotta and how its origins shapes its uses. The design process is always collaborative -  with Gordon + Greineder providing detailed visions but they are receptive to suggestions and modifications if it serves their Client's interests.

I would say that the attention to detail is appropriately intense which is deeply needed for large and complex  country estates and city properties.  You cannot go wrong by hiring this team.

A: Thank you for your interest in our project.  Marian Wheeler of Wheeler Design Group was the Interior Designer.  She sourced furnishings and decor for the house. http://www.wheelerdg.com

**Q: Color** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the color of this house?

A: This is a two tone mottled custom stucco.  The tone is definitely gold / yellow.  We prepared multiple stucco mock ups and reviewed them in different light, and on all sides of the house for approval.

**Q: What is the granite? Black galaxy?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: We find the names / descriptions of stone slabs can vary from showroom to showroom - and the colors can shift over time as slabs are excavated from different or deeper portions of the quarry.  I believe we obtained these slabs from Alpha Marble and Granite in Santa Clara.

**Q: Love the counter top!  What is itmade of?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It is a travertine (limestone) slab.  I believe the tone was "noce".

**Q: where can I gt the iron sconces on colums** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: We sourced many fixtures for this home from Murray's Iron Works.

**Q: is that wallpaper on the back wall of this wine room?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It is a painted mural.
