## Community Q&A

**Q: Studio apartment fridge dilema...** *(in Polls)*

Renovating a 250 sq foot studio. Should I stay with a small upright fridge, or go for an under counter size? I have 9 feet on the main wall. You can see that the opening has been enlarged.
I guess I am just wondering if having a smaller under the counter fridge will be satisfactory for a studio tenant. I am planning on a w/d combo in the kitchen...so there will be a little counter space on top of that, but, with a high fridge, less options for counter space. Also, the window will be replaced to counter height, so not to block the window.

We recently finished tiling a stellar shower! It looks great and is quite spacious! The painting and glass installation are up next for this amazing upstairs remodel. What colors do you think will look best on the walls? Let us know!

A: Beautiful! Great design and execution. For the walls I'd stick with a white.

**Q: working with contractor - dirty and cracked baseboard?** *(in Home Repair)*

My contractor just finished installing the laminate floor in my place. And I feel that the job was shoddy. Is it normal to see dirty and cracked baseboards? It looks worse than previous old baseboards.. 

It’s my first time working with a contractor so I am not sure if I should consider this is normal. 

Please share some of your experiences!!

A: There are several steps that were definitely skipped for whatever reason whether it be lack of experience or laziness but it's not a complete job. With some caulk, paint and some touch up on the floors you can have a world of a difference.

Keeping it modern and clean, glass stacked subway tiles run along the back-splash. White and speckled silver quartz for the counter-tops contrast beautifully against the dark high gloss lacquered cabinetry. Brushed metal pulls and faucetry. A beautiful kitchen that is functional and easy to maintain with selected products such as glass, quartz, and brushed metal.
