> Tomco did a fantastic job on our master bath and his-and-hers walk-in closets. It was great working with Tom. He offered opinions based on his excellent experience, and always talked about both the pros and cons of all choices, but always emphasized that it was our choice. He never pushed any ideas, just provided very useful insights. We especially liked that he checked things out with computer design tools to make sure everything fit perfectly with no issues before any building step was performed. He has such great attention to detail -- things that really mattered to us but we would not have thought to ask for. This guy is an expert full-service builder. We love the results.

> We had Tomco remodel our basement 4 years ago. He built it into a great kid hangout. We just hosted our first grad party and we’re so glad that we redid the space so that our oldest could use it all through high school. Our kids (and their friends) have loved the basement space he created. The vinyl tile is really easy to clean, the fireplace keeps us warm in the winter and the custom cabinets are beautiful and hold the big TV—a hit with the kids. We like it that our place is usually the place where the gang wants to hang out. He created an exercise space out a hallway and closet that also fits with basement. The quality of the work has been excellent over time. We can highly recommend him as we are super pleased with our “new” basement even 4 years later.

> We spent 9 months with Tom of Tomco from early design to final construction of our main floor remodeling project. We worked with Tom to come up with a design that incorporated the features we were looking for, transforming an old, dated kitchen and master bath into beautiful and functional spaces. During the whole time, Tom listened to us and maintained clear communication between all of the subcontractors, keeping us up to date on all the details as the project progressed. Everything was completed according to schedule. All of the subcontractors he worked with were experienced craftsmen. As we talked with suppliers and subcontractors, they all had very positive comments about Tom, the quality of his work, and organization of his projects. We highly recommend Tom and look forward to working with him on future projects.

> Tomco Company recently transformed our 1960 Rambler into a modern, elegant, yet comfortable home. They relocated a lower level bathroom, installed a ceramic tile shower, walk in closet and created a suite for our daughter who returned home in order to attend grad school. Our upper level "pink" bathroom has been completely changed into a beautiful, spa-like space, and the kitchen / dining room / living room is now open, completely renovated and perfect for entertaining. We absolutely love it, and will be very happy here for years to come. We appreciated Tom's practical, honest and common sense approach. The quality of work by his staff was excellent - one example: The back splash tile we selected for the buffet came in, but it was crooked on the backing. Brian hand set each tile because he knew it wouldn't look right. That's the type of eye for the details we really appreciated. We highly recommend Tomco.

> Working with Tom and his subcontractors was a true pleasure. The project was finished on time and we are thrilled with how our new bathrooms, walk-in closet and built-in cabinets turned out. We are also so happy that we went with his suggestion of new wood work throughout that area as well, we feel like we have a new house. We would not hesitate to recommend Tomco for any remodeling project.

> We had Tomco remodel a 3-season porch into a 4-season living room. Wow - what a difference it's made in our home! In a nutshell, we could have had this done cheaper with someone else, but the huge pluses that made it worthwhile were:
>
> 1\) The design work and virtual models in the planning phase were very helpful! Completely worth the effort/expense and really helped us understand what we were going to get and there were truly no surprises.
> 2\) We elected to vault the ceiling at the last minute, of course throwing a wrench in everything. Tom made that seamless when I'm sure it wasn't just a simple thing to add.
> 3\) The final product looks fantastic and "feels" very well done - you know like when you walk through a new construction in a mass-produced development and it just feels poorly done? This feels more like a hand-crafted home, which is, of course, what it is.
>
> Overall we're very pleased with the work and are glad we chose to work with Tom - we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others.

**★★★★★ — Cornelia Murphy, Sept. 2016**

> Tomco remodeled our 20 year old, open floor plan kitchen, great room, and powder room (refinished vaulted ceiling, new floors, new cabinets, new appliances, new counter tops, new trim, new lighting, new plumbing fixtures). The work was done on schedule and on budget. The quality of work was top shelf. They did an excellent job containing the mess to the areas under construction. Most importantly, Tom was an excellent communicator contacting me with regular updates so that we knew what to expect and when. After the project was complete, Tom was our advocate in resolving an issue with the solid surface countertops. Even when it took longer than the project, Tom went to battle for us to ensure that we were satisfied with every aspect of our remodel. I would absolutely recommend Tomco for your remodel project.

> Partial Basement finish, quality work, completed timely, professional, some excess dust. Overall, very satisfied. Tom was excellent to work with.

**Comment from Tomco Company Inc.:**

> Thanks Bob for your feedback. Sorry to hear about excess dust, but this only gives us more incentive to strive to do better on the next project. Glad you appreciate the quality and professionalism.

> My wife and I hired Tomco to implement various home improvements and miscellaneous repairs in preparation for selling our 4 bedroom home. The work performed included extensive interior painting, bathroom remodeling, and kitchen cabinet updates. Tom S. and his team of subcontractors were very professional, personable, and did excellent work. The work was done efficiently and Tom was very conscientious about ensuring quality workmanship and ensuring our complete satisfaction with the work performed. Tom also went out of his way to accommodate our fast paced schedule. Especially for medium to large projects, we recommend Tomco because they provide ideas and make recommendations, provide a detailed bid, manage all aspects of project planning and execution, and provide highly skilled subcontractors appropriate to the job.

**Comment from Tomco Company Inc.:**

> Thank you for the kind words Darrel. Both you and Nancy were also very great clients to work for. You recognized the value pf of my time and often adjusted your schedules when you could to make it easier for us to get together. Thanks again

> We were very impressed with the knowledge and professionalism working with Tomco. Our kitchen remodel went very smooth and we still love the end result. Tom was able to design a new kitchen within our budget. So much work went into the planning and design phases that the actual work was done in a little over a month. Tom kept us informed along the way to make sure everything was being done to our satisfaction. Our new kitchen result is more than I ever imagined it could be when we were initially thinking about remodeling the kitchen.

**Comment from Tomco Company Inc.:**

> Thanks, for the kind words! We always try to do our best.

> One of the most fortunate days of our lives was the one we met Tom Schiebout. We were looking for gardening ideas at the home show, but knew we had serious problems with our house. We were truly blest to find Tomco. They were absolutely professional and reliable, we cannot say enough good things about what they did for us. > They were a dream, both in terms of what they did for us and also for the way they worked.
>
> We were so, so lucky!

**Comment from Tomco Company Inc.:**

> Sometimes we don't know why two parties end up finding each other, but in our case this client/contractor relationship was meant to happen. I thoroughly enjoyed working with both of you guys. Thank you!

It is aided by the tapered vanity and top. Grab bars in the shower and at the toilet double as a towel rod and toilet paper holder. And a narrow corner bench is handy when shaving.
