Welcome to Unique Design Cabinet Company, serving Reno, Sparks, Incline Village, Lake Tahoe and Washoe County in Northern Nevada since 1985.
We are woodworkers who design custom cabinetry, custom kitchens, bathrooms, and furniture for all rooms of your home.

> Before moving into our home, we hired Unique Design Cabinets to design and build us a wine room, new utility room and turn one empty room into an office.  Ken did all the design work and provided us with plans and costs ahead of the job.  The cabinetry work is outstanding and as you can see by the pictures, the wine room is extraordinary.  It is a small room (only 13' X 7"), but his excellent design makes it seem much bigger and holds more than enough wine bottles.  Ken suggested using redwood and the finish is so beautiful.  I even have a walnut top for a display case.

> The den has specialty drawers for printers and a small drawer underneath that holds the printer paper.  The remaining cabinets are made of alder and are high quality with self closing drawers.  Initially, the costs for the den were 2X what I wanted to spend.  Ken suggested an alternative for the inside of the drawers that brought the whole project back to my budget.  I appreciate that he understands what it means to have a budget.

**Q: Backsplash Product** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me what product and finish is used for the backsplash and up the wall in the kitchen? It appears to be a ledgestone.

A: Thank you for your enquiry,  However,  I do not remember who did the tile work in that house.

Is the stone a veneer? Who manufactures this product and what is the cost? Also whom can this be purchased from? Thank you.

A: I'm sorry I can not help you with information about the stone, as it was provided and installed by another contractor.

Who made these cabinets. They are beautiful.

A: Thank you,  We fabricated them here in our local shop in Sparks NV. With the assistance of Sustainable Wood Resources in Portland OR who found us the Willamette Walnut tree and had it milled for us.  CalDoor, Morgan Hill, CA who fabricated the doors from the lumber we sent them.  Western Dovetail who Fabricated the drawers from the lumber we sent them. AND 3 fabulous cabinet makers in my shop who milled the parts, put it all together, and installed it.

Where was the barn wood accents purchased? TIA.

A: Thank you for the question, I wish I could answer that, but the homeowner provided & installed the barn wood. I don't know where he sourced it from.

A: Thank you.  The Counters are White Marble, fabricated & installed by Granite Mountain Marble of Reno NV.
