> Jim created a 115" double sink vanity for our master bathroom.  It is a work of art as well as functioning perfectly.  The quality of workmanship is impeccable. Most important and greatly appreciated was Jim and his assistant Sammy's level of reliability and responsibility. They were always on time or early - they met or beat delivery and installation dates. We had a delay with our tile work and Jim offered to make two separate trips for installation, just to insure the piece would not be damaged. This was well beyond the normal scope of work.

**Q: Red counter top** *(in Photo Questions)*

On the red counter top how big of piece can we get without getting a seam or joint

A: Hi Andy,
Slab sizes vary a little from one manufacturer and color to another but typically slabs are 60-63" w x 120" long. Best advise is to find a good stone fabricator to work with as you select your stone. They can help you to determine if a seam is necessary  and if so the best location for it. Hope this helps!

A: Hi Margy, Usually we would know the color but in this case the cabinets were finished by others that were hired by the designers, Kelby Bryant Design. She has a profile on Houzz here, http://www.houzz.com/pro/kelby-bryant/kelby-bryant-design, you could make your request with her.

A: Sorry but we were out of the loop on that choice as they were selected directly by the owner. They are really unique and fit the style.

A: I would share if I knew! Our clients chose the remaining finishes after the installation of the cabinetry.

**Q: How did you get the color on these cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The cabinets are made using maple. We use General Finishes water-based stains, dyes and top coats. They have a stain system they call RTM where they have samples with formulas for about 150 colors. I was showing the clients the samples and out of the blue they picked the orange dye and then the yellow dye which are two of the base colors. The final colors are primarily the orange dye and the yellow dye. We mellowed each with some dilution and small amounts of a few other elements. It was applied by spraying.
