## Community Q&A

**Q: Custom cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Are these type cabinets for purchase some where or was this a custom build for this pantry? I have the same need to have 18" depth base cabinets but can't seem to find them anywhere. Thanks.

A: Hi Amber,  These were all custom cabinets for this project.  I'm not sure where you are located but we are based out of Ontario, if you are in our vicinity you are more than welcome to contact us.  An option for you if you are trying to achieve 18" deep cabinets but are trying to go with standard or ready made cabinets, it to purchase standard 24" deep cabinets, and have them cut down to 18" before assembling.

**Q: what is the standard depth of pantry work counter and shelves above?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It would really depend on the space you have available in your pantry.  For this particular pantry we didn't have a lot of room so the base cabinets are 18" deep and the uppers are 12" deep to accommodate books, smaller jars,  etc.   It could be anywhere from 18" or 24" like the standard kitchen depth depending on the room that you have. Can you provide details on the cabinet hardware?

A: The cabinet hardware is in a polished chrome and is from Emtek Hardware.

The countertops are Caesarstone  and the color is Organic White.

**Q: Splashback - love it - stacked stone or individual carerra tiles?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi there,

The backsplash is random strips of Calacutta Marble on a 12x12 mesh backing.  This type of tile is also available in Carrera, but Carrera would have more of a grey undertone to it as opposed to the pure white with veining.  The random strips on a mesh makes it much easier, faster and more even upon installation.
