We have lived in the home for 2 years now and the floors still look brand new! We have had dogs of all sizes, and 5 teenagers living under the roof. Sand, dirt and sun. Still beautiful. We have a west facing home just a block from the beach with lots of windows so I will admit we have had a lot of fading (which happens with all wood flooring), but its partially our fault because we only have sun shades at curtains and honestly, we leave them up many time, so we can feel the breeze or watch the sunset, but since they are a lighter color it does not show unless you lift a rug (see last photo).
