The project management service was not good at all. Many of the tradesmen brought in were sub-standard, especially in the cabinetry/kitchen work, which we are going to completely replace it is so bad. Still finding many mistakes and errors that were covered up, and still paying to have them fixed several years after completion. Project was over-budget, over-time, and the quality was just not there. Paige was great, would not work with anyone else from LuxWest again. > > Update 19 OCT 2020: Just included some pics of another horrible piece of work completed by LuxWest's contractor. At about 9:30 at night the mirror in my daughter's bathroom came crashing off the wall. The mirror is almost 50lbs., and would have severely injured or killed a child had it landed on them. After hearing a massive crash and rushing into the bathroom, thinking that my 2YO daughter had somehow managed to pull something off the wall, I instead found that a 50lb. mirror had been mounted to the wall with nothing more than epoxy. That's right, no anchors, no screws, no brackets. Epoxy ONLY: A 50 lb. mirror. I can only say that I am furious, and if anyone had been in the bathroom when this occurred, we would be having a very different conversation. Another example of the complete lack of competence of LuxWest, their contractors, and their supervisors. DO NOT HIRE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. **Comment from LuxWest Interiors:** > I am extremely embarrassed by this and I am so sorry. Looking back at your project, we did issue reimbursement checks for work that was ordered after our completion and we believed we had all come to an agreement. Renovations in old condo buildings can be complicated and frustrating, but it's all worth it when the end result is such a significant and beautiful transformation. I do stand by our cabinetmaker who does great work all over the area for many satisfied customers. Customer satisfaction is so important to us.
