The job they did was more than I ever expected. Starting with a consultation to discuss options and, since I didn't really know what I would want, some very good input from the team at Xtend on recommendations that would fit my house and lifestyle. We agreed on the job that would be done, and they got started. To state that the guys who worked on it were professional is an understatement. They came in with a game plan and each immediately worked on tasks that made the most of their time. The reason I mention this is that they get paid by the hour, but I felt that they were trying to find the best ways possible to get everything done as quickly as possible without cutting corners - something I couldn't say any other company would do for the homeowner. As for the system itself, my house could honestly be used as a showroom. Everyone - I mean EVERYONE - that comes over is thoroughly impressed with the sound and look of the entire system. And everyone is amazed at the fact that all wires are hidden - a great feature that really completes the job! My house is now perfect for parties large and small with multiple forms of media running in different rooms. To boot, I had one small issue when I changed out a component (user error), and they came out and made sure it worked perfectly again. Is that correct? A: We only installed the electronics so we cannot speak to the materials used in construction. Sorry. **Q: What color metal are the island pendants? Did you do the work on the outside of the fireplace? A: Sorry for the delayed response. I believe in this setup there were some open cavity space behind the tv before the fireplace started. We did all the wiring in a pre-wire before the finish was done so we had room to work with. We are able to work around fireplaces though and do it often.
