The entire experience was great from the beginning of the project when we met with James to review what needed to be done until the end. All work to be done is detailed in the quotation, no gray areas or question marks. James sent Brian and Mimo to work on our project and they have to be two of the nicest people i ever met. They also modified our closet to gain more space in the shower area, what a world of difference and my wife has that shower bench she always wanted. The tile work is absolutely beautiful. They are extremely knowledgeable, professional, clean, prompt. Their attention to detail is second to none. I couldn't be there every day so i gave them the garage door opener and they came and went until project was complete. They clean up at the end of every day, my house was cleaner when they left than when they arrived the next day. From the Demolition to the final touches they did a great job. A great job was done at our home, we made ourselves available for several referrals; even had someone visit our home. Within 8 months the tile grout in our floor began to break away and the tiles started to loosen in multiple areas of the kitchen. James ignored countless calls and texts made to him. I finally gave up and hired someone to do some of the repairs at a cost of $1100.00. Recently my husband ran into James in Home Depot and he promised to call. He did call to apologize then made another promise to come for the Foyer floor which has now started to crumble. Even explained in great detail how he would do it. He never called again. About a month later I took pictures of the floor and sent them in a text to him (the same pictures I have attached here) and asked if he forgot us and he said "no, he was going to call me... he would be able to send someone out the next Wednesday." I said great, I would have someone at the house on Wednesday. No call. No show. No surprise. He is not really a professional. Professionals don't hide from their customers when they have a recovery to make. BEWARE, he does not stand by his work, just makes excuses and never shows up. Unfortunately, we could not give you a possible start date when we would be able to address the issue at that time. We have completed your project 1.5 years ago, and with time the grout could become loose due to the movement of subfloor. 2 weeks ago we have offered to cover the bill you paid to another contractor. We completely understand that you would rather have the issue fixed. As we communicated through email, our crew is scheduled for November 17, to come out to reinforce the floor joists and subfloor and apply a better grout. Again, please accept my apologies. P.S. AS SCHEDULED, WE INSTALLED NEW GROUT THROUGHOUT, AND REINFORCED FLOOR JOISTS.
