What was done, or could be done, to weatherproof the covered area from strong wind and rain? A: Unless it’s a closed in space there’s not really a true way to weatherproof it. Since it is open aired we used outdoor rated tiles, countertops and stainless steel accessories. The tv will be exposed and the homeowner was aware of it. **Q: What kind and color is pool tile? They did a great job and we collaborated on the design integrating landscape with the project while the house was still under design before breaking ground.
