This apartment was a one bedroom, one bath in the Kitsilano, Vancouver Area. This renovation consisted of a full gut job even going as far as removing 2 walls to provide a open house concept. We also installed a floating Island that could be moved around with ease, opening up the space and turning this apartment into a 100 % usable floor space for the owner to entertain. Gurjit Kooner was very professional to deal with so where his trades people. I also had positive feed back from neighbors and with the Strata President who was also impressed with his professionalism. Because of the large windows in the front of back, and the need for an open floor concept, the framing also required a series of moment frames to be involved, which complicated the logistics. Kooner Projects were able to adapt to this requirement and were able to put up the frame with TGI's within two weeks. While the framing passed inspection, the true test of a good frame is to be observed during the drywall phase and after the house has been completed and burned in. The Drywall hanging went in smoothly with no need to adjust for any errant pitches or warps.
