> We had two 30+ year bathrooms that seen our family grow and were in need of a serious re-do.

> We wanted to remove the tub in the main bathroom, replace the worn cabinet, and upgrade the builder tiles that seen better days.  In addition, in the ensuite bathroom we wanted to take out a wall that surrounded the toilet, put in a longer cabinet, enlarge the shower and put in a tub that would accommodate my husband who is well over 6’.  It was a tall order (excuse the pun), but Alexandra designed two bathrooms that went beyond our hopes and all within the time and money we had to spend. From walking us through product selection to explaining what we wanted to the contractors – Alexandra was an absolute professional.

> And the contractors!  We could not have asked for a better crew.  Dennis and Andre showed up every day as they said they would, protected the rest of the house from the expected dirt and dust, explained everything they were about to do should we have any questions, and left the site neat and tidy when they were done for the day.  We are very happy with the tile work and installation and the effort to make everything just as perfect as we hoped.  Andre the electrician did an amazing job putting in the new fans, pot lights, wall sconces and back-lit mirrors.

> We’ve always wanted to renovate our basement but we have a couple of challenges with our space that we didn’t have a solution for.

> One is the low ceiling area where the mud room on the main floor is at. We weren’t sure how we could utilize this space because the ceiling is just a little over 6ft. We were reluctant to close it off as we thought it’s a pretty significant space and might affect the open concept look that we’re trying to achieve.

> The other big challenge is this funky way the builders of our house configured the air ducts downstairs. It’s kind of hard to describe in words but basically one of the ducts ran over the supporting I-beam in the basement but instead of going up and over the beam, it went under it so theres this U-shaped vent shaft that takes up a pretty significant space.

> Anyway, we’ve delayed our basement renovation because we couldn’t figure out what to do with these problems. We’ve tried looking it up on the internet for other basement reno projects that may have had the same issues. We’ve consulted with other contractors on what they think would be the best solution.  None of them offered anything that we thought we would be happy with. Then the pandemic happened and we had to put any plans to renovate on hold.

I described the situation to Mike over the phone and we scheduled a time for him to come over and see it. We couldn’t do anything about the low ceiling other than closing it off and use it as storage space. He did assure us though that we can still achieve the open concept look that we want.

> For the air duct, he was able to propose a solution that would remove the U-shape vent by reconfiguring and relocating the ducts to under the stairs. We hired them and they went to work.

> Our designer was Alexandra who was very accommodating and knowledgeable.  We first communicated with her through text messages. Then we met with her via Zoom so we could show her what we want for our basement design. She had lots of good ideas that fit within our concept. We also met with her in person to pick our tiles and flooring and finalize the design.

> Denis and Andrey were our installers and Arie was the Project Manager. They were polite and friendly as well and were able to answer any questions we may have. They also keep us informed if there will be any delays or any issues with the project. The project took longer than some other contractors were quoting us but their workmanship and attention to detail makes up for the extra few weeks that it took for the project to finish.

> We are so happy with the work that 310 RENO did in our home, and highly recommend them.  Our bathroom involved a full gut to the studs, and was not easy given our home is 102 years old and the space was very small to work in. It is our only full bathroom, used by 3 people, and being very small it needed a lot of love and a new layout to function well.

> We spoke to 3 other contractors when selecting which company to choose, and it was an easy decision after the very helpful initial discussions with Alexandra, their designer. Prices were fair and reflected the high quality of work.

> We recently decided to renovate the Ensuite bathroom as it still had the original layout and décor from when the house was built in 2001 and needed an update desperately.  After interviewing several contractors we decided to work with 310-RENO because their service, inclusions and competitive cost were enough to impress us. After selecting most of the fixtures myself, I thoroughly enjoyed working with their designer Alexandra, especially when we went tile shopping together. The project took just over 2 weeks and couldn’t have turned out more stunning and far exceeded my expectations which you can tell by the attached photos.
