Proven Facts!!!! This company is just trying to make a quick dime off of “trusting” home buyers. Trust Home Builders are often “mysteriously” approved to “piggy back” off of prior existing neighborhoods. Trust Home Builders are known to have 0 regard for or following any actual TN Codes, prior “so called” MAP Engineering “approved plans” or HOA bylaws and restrictions ; causing complete havoc within communities and \*\*\*\*Most importantly\*\*\*DESTRUCTION \*\*\*\*to the existing homeowners’s properties , due to “water” drainage failed plans or being improperly, if at all, installed or 1/2 attempted, or left completely unfinished …STILL to date!!!!! With all the existing homeowners’s and the new “Trust” built homeowner’s baring the huge expenses of a solution for the damage to properties inside and out, attorney’s fees, etc… with not even a single returned phone call, being “unassuming” or from of a potentially “new home buyer” or whomever to Trust’s listed home office \# or “site agent “ in 2 years of calls!!!!! > BUYER BEWARE!!!!! **★ — Christina, Sept. 2025** > Purchased a brand new Trust Home's Build in August 2023. Since we purchased the home we have had nothing but problems with the home's structure. Warranty work was "completed" following a 60 day and 1 year warranty walk-through. Head warranty contact- Keith, did a great job of documenting the concerns however the work to follow is where the problem lays. Painters, carpet installers, roofers, to just name a few of the contractors, scheduled and then no-showed for 19 appointments. Call after call, email after email, the work was finally "completed". Fast forward a 1.5 later, all the LPV flooring had to be removed due to install and manufacturing issues (gapped, ridged). Work completed after having to get two third party inspections completed and going back and forth about who was responsible. This past summer, all the sidewalk and 1/2 of our driveway needed to be tore up because it did not meet ADA compliance (larger then 2% grade). Again, "Trust" hired a company to complete the work. They had NO IDEA what they were doing, we the home owners had to dig out the driveway and sidewalk and complete finish work on the concrete OURSELVES. Now, the roof shingles that were apparently "fixed" at out 60 day walk through have completely come off. We had an independent roof inspection completed prior to move in and requested them be fixed then. Apparently they were never fixed and we didn't know because we never stepped foot on the roof. Shame on us for not reviewing their work. Now we are left with missing shingles and roof work we need to pay to fix. Per Trust, this is not a warranty issue, even though it was noted prior to closing and again on the 60 day walk-through. Save yourself, DONT BUY A TRUST HOME. They are nothing but work for the homeowner and what things will be completed by "Trust" are completed by the cheapest, most unprofessional, unknowledgeable work force. **★ — HU-712507822, Aug. 2022** > I would not recommend Trust Homes to anyone. We have seen so many issues within the first 3 months of living here. Trust Homes is not the quality home they advertise to be. The finish work on our home was horrible. Paint drips all over the floors, crooked doors, horrible painted ceilings. Our shower tile cracked only 2 months in. They even over-sprayed our fireplace tile and have not fixed it. We had a major leak in the garage- cracked foundation and lots of plumbing issues. Wish I had read the reviews for this builder before purchasing our home. **★ — Sandy Bowman, July 2022** > I would not recommend using Trust Homes as your builder. They installed damaged doors, balusters and more in my home and have yet to replace them. We were lied to by the project manager and warranty person at the time that they will be replaced. We have been in our home a year and they have not been replaced. I emailed Mona, who is with Trust and she will not respond. Trust Homes uses sup par contractors to do the work. It is poor craftsmanship throughout our home. We had a leak out first week off bring in our home. During the first week, we also had to have the hvac unit repaired because it was installed incorrectly. The second week, our driveway cracked from the street all the way to the garage and we were told that we will have to fix it. The ceilings are poorly done with ridges and lumps. The trim work is poorly cut and tile is cracked and countertops are coming from wall in the kitchen. In the course of a month it was so many things that needed attention that should not have if it was a quality home. The warranty person, Zac at the time was terrible at his job and did not care to help the families in need of home repairs. The project manager, Like did not care to address things while the home was being built. On our walk throughs which I videoed both of them he says the doors was the wrong doors and they will replace them but Trust is avoiding replacing them by trying to paint them. The doors aren’t in need of paint but to be replaced because they are damaged and not cut to size to fit properly. I would NOT recommend Trust Homes at all. **★ — Kylie Putman, Feb. 2022** > I have been in my Trust Home for 7 months. I had a major leak under my dishwasher. They took over 3 weeks to fix it and left mold under my floor. They replaced only a small piece of my subfloor. I have a very heavy island now siting on the compromised floor. The floor every time you step on it moves because the subfloor is so wavy in that area it won’t lay down properly. I have ripples in my Sheetrock. Hundreds of nail pops they have had to fix. Squeaky floor in my bedroom it took they twice to get rid of the squeaks. Had to tear my whole bedroom floor up. When you walk toward my bathroom it feels like your walking down hill. They did not seal the grout in my shower or any of tile and didn’t inform me. Now I have constant mold in my shower that won’t go away. The vinyl wrap they put on the trim outside is coming off and leaving my house open to water damage. The siding buckling and gapping coming away from the wall. We had to replace our toilets the first weekend in the house because not so much as even a pice of toilet paper or pee would flush down. The LVP flooring the put in the bathrooms is not at all waterproof. When the commode backed up into the house I was there cut the water off immediately started cleaning up with towels. It had already ran down through to my kitchen ceiling. My kids caught it because they had gone downstairs to get me paper towels and were able to put a bucket under it and clean it up for me. The floor is basically a sieve. They said the toilet problem was out fault since we installed the toilet so we start to tear up the floor. There was damage to the wax ring or the flooring underneath the toilet. So we start pulling up the flooring and the floor was completely molded. They said it was from our kids putting water on the floor from the bath getting out of the shower. My kids are 9 and 11 and hardly ever take a bath. Let’s think about this what if my kids through up on the floor and it took me a minute to clean up. If one of the accidentally peed off the side of the toilet. All of that is just going directly through the floor. Glad I don’t have pets! My son is highly allergic to mold the reason we decided to buy a new house. You can feel screws coming up through the carpet everywhere it’s like walking on bubble wrap. The porch vinyl is warping on the roof. There are gaps now for pests and moisture to get in. There is a crack in my foundation. The list goes on!!!!
