> Our initial design meetings went quite well, our sales rep was able to draw the pool we wanted quickly, and was very responsive when we wanted a number of changes over time. When we were ready to sign the contract in the first week of February 2021, we were told that it would take longer than normal due to the pandemic, which we understood. The estimate was that we would start sometime in the spring, but no later than early summer, and certainly we would be complete by August 2021 in time for our daughter's birthday in September.

> That, of course didn't happen. Here we are in April of 2022, more than 15 months later and the pool is still not finished! I will concede that we have had water in the pool and the heater and equipment hooked up since November of 2021, so we have been able to swim. But once they got the final payment (which was due prior to completion, which should have been a red flag…) they lost interest in the project. We have effectively not seen any work from them for almost 6 months. We are still waiting on some work on the tile and deck, the auto-fill doesn't work requiring manual filling from the hose twice a week, there is a problem with the Venturi skimmer so leaves don't properly empty causing additional manual cleaning, and the main pump shuts off mysteriously about once a week with no error or notification from the monitoring system. We are also still waiting on the final electrical and pool inspection from the city. All of which are repeatedly promised, but never happen since they have requirements to complete first and haven’t done them. About every few weeks I contact them again, and get more promises that they will be right out to take care of things...nothing happens...then repeat.

> Despite all the work delays and some remaining mechanical issues, we had been generally happy with the quality of the work that was actually completed. Our issues are mostly with the follow-up and lack of service once they got their final check in October 2021. The primary cosmetic issue is that there is concrete spatter (see images) all over our house, the back screen, the pool tile and coping, and our two AC external units. We have cleaned up some of this ourselves, but a lot remains. The most obvious are the spots all over the pool tiles.

> As a first time pool builder, I did my research and due diligence prior to making a decision of which company to work with.  My designer Cole made this decision easy.  He was kind and professional from our very first conversation, handled my many questions with ease and calls regularly to make sure am always in the loop or to check in and see if I need anything or have any questions.  The project manager who was in charge of building the pool and it’s crew, Josh, is another employee for the win! Together Cole and Josh are quite the duo! They are fun and ensure everyone detail is taken care of.  They always respond quickly, and they also did an outstanding job working with my neighbors.  The started on time and carried every part of the project in a timely manner.  No delays.  Great communication and follow through. I also appreciated that many things that are considered upgrades with other companies are standard with St Johns.  I am so thankful I chose St John Pools and was paired with the best team!

> We were very patient and waiting for our pool to be complete. It took longer than expected several delays, and this was before Snowvid-21!  We have not been able to enjoy our pool because they still haven’t completed it, we continue to find many mistakes, one solution was to put flex shield glue on a leak, another one they put blue glue for a bypass because we have no heat for our Jacuzzi. Looks horrible!  Very disappointed in their lack of completing and fixing leaks and pipes completely and professionally, completely subpar for the amount of money we paid. Once they have their final payment, fixing anything does not appear to be their priority, and when they do come, they have merely glued leaks, rather than replace pipes! Buyer beware.

> We've waited to buy a pool for quite some time. It's always been a goal of ours. When we moved back to Houston, St John's Pools (Justin) was recommended by a few sources. Justin did a great job taking our requirements and wants into account and seeing the job through. Now, every morning after we wake up, we can enjoy the sights and sounds of the water. If we need a break throughout the day, the pool is always ready for us. I grew up lifeguarding and taking care of pools through college. The pools today, paired with constantly updated technology, makes owning a pool easier than maintaining a small yard. They are very cost-effective as well. I highly recommend researching with St. John's Pools and when you're ready, you won't be disappointed.
