If you need (or want) a gorgeous kitchen GO TO CHERYL CARPENTER and the fine team at Poggenpohl Houston. After years ago having our first high-end custom kitchen designed and installed by Poggenohl, Houston, in a different residence - we decided to make a total redo of a different kitchen in the home in which we live now. We wasted a bit of time and money scoping out options ( for our own edification we wanted to see what else might be out there) Well - do not waste your time, Poggenpohl and Cheryl particularly ARE THE BEST!. My wife (a very smart lady herself) said it best: "Cheryl is the most amazing person I have met with an incredible ability to use the fully both the left side and the right side of her brain, at the same time, in wonderful ways" I am SURE if our home had been a new build, the magnitude of decisions would have been much less. While gently suggesting slight space and ceiling modifications, our overall result is beyond stunning. The reaction by long-term friends and family when they see our new kitchen is total amazement, Shock is a better word. Despite having full detailed colored renderings from every possible angle before the install, the actual finished product was better than anything we dreamed of. Cheryl and her team are the best! They are responsive. And after they all jumped through a lot of hoops (which we added) every single deadline was met or completed early. The follow up after ordering the kitchen and before during and after installation has been tremendous. We have truly been blown away that our home now looks so amazing. Thanks :) A: I As a designer for Poggenpohl for many years I would like to clarify a few comments I’ve read here. \#1 when you get a quote / contract from Poggenpohl US it already includes all duties, custom fees, shipping, local sales tax and delivery. Install is separated out due to sales tax not being paid in labor. (there are no hidden fees at the end for you to absorb) \#2 we have excellent reviews on Houzz for our Houston studio designs AND exceptional customer service. For reviews and Images of many of our completed kitchens see link, https://www.houzz.com/pro/ccarp/poggenpohl-houston, 3 having someone build a kitchen on their shop or “on site” cannot be compared to the Custom Designed for you & German engineered products we make one kitchen at a time. Our 12 step lacquer is an industry standard. These cannot be reproduced in someone’s garage. We have precise tolerances and proprietary products. Our designers are well trained and experts at what they do. Providing lots of as needed consulting. \#4 there is no language barrier because the factory is in Germany. The order processing staff at our factory are all fluent in English as are most of the staff. \#5 Poggenpohl has been in business for over 128 years.
