I have always admired Lisa's style and visited her store often, but had already hired a friend to help me with my house. When that friend/designer moved, I asked Lisa to help me finish off our family room -- which is part of a greater room that flows to kitchen and living room. > > I was so happy with how she approached the project. Given another designer had helped me, I thought there was a risk that Lisa wouldn't like the work done, or want to do more than the TV room. Not at all! She came to the house, and immediately had some amazing advice about how to connect the rooms - separate from the TV area, and so helpful! Practical ideas just flow from her. For example, we have a shelf of blue and white ginger jars in the Family Room area, and she suggested getting a few more for the living room. She also suggested ways to make blue a more unifying color with pillows, accents, etc. Simple -- and it really united the space. > > Then, she helped me find the perfect couch for our family room. She had it made with her contacts, so it was 100% personalized to fit the space (which is not big, and she optimized it with an 'L' shape. And the cost was very reasonable - a custom couch for about what you'd pay Restoration Hardware.
