> I utilized Heather's Décor Coaching services when I found myself in need of some help moving forward with the design of my living room. Heather was terrific to work with. She asked some initial questions to get a true idea of my style and how we wanted the room to function and then gave me a lot of great suggestions. The initial session was done via phone but she followed up the call with an emailed "design plan" for the space. This included her suggestions, sketches of certain areas and even sources. It was very easy to follow. Overall, I was very pleased with the service and plan on using her again soon!

> Heather did an excellent job during my consultation. I felt like she was very thorough, understood "the look" we were going for. Her suggestions were very helpful and she followed up the appointment with links to complete the room that were reasonable in price and several variants to choose from. She was very organized and professional during the appointment and very easy to talk to. I did not feel rushed during our time because she was very well prepared based on our pre-work. I feel like my session was very worth the money and time invested. I would recommend her to friends and will use her again. Our living area has never looked better!

> I worked with Heather for a design coaching session. She provided an impressive number of great suggestions and ideas to me within a short time of being in my home and getting an idea of my taste. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing help with home projects big or small. I plan to work with her again.

> Heather spent a couple of hours helping us plan a master bath remodel. She reviewed my Pinterest board, some pictures of the room, and came to our home and met with us in the space. Then she suggested colors, wood tones, and tile types to help us reach our goal of a light, bright, watery space.. She even emailed me suggestions for products and websites she likes. We took her suggestions and shopped for the products ourselves and worked with a contractor to do the actual remodel. I just love how this room turned out. Her suggestions really kept us on track when shopping for products. We were able to focus on watery colors and lighter wood and tile products without being distracted by things that wouldn't have fit our design plan. This service was very worth the money and time, and still allowed me the flexibility and fun of picking out products myself!

> Heather was absolutely wonderful to work with. She was very responsive to emails - thorough and prompt - and she asked great questions prior to our conversation to ensure that she was prepared for our appointment. It was clear that she had done her research - Heather had looked at my inspiration photos on Pinterest and considered my space - and she provided excellent suggestions on how I can begin to tackle the open plan of my one-bedroom apartment. Our conversation was fun and interesting and she definitely provided me new insights based on my personal style. Can't recommend her highly enough!

> Heather's natural talent for design and joy in helping you tell your story throughout your home are evident from the moment she walks through your front door. I could not have been more impressed with Heather's professionalism, creativity, and active ability to make your dreams for a space become a reality. Her charming personality will make you want her to come back again and again. I felt more at ease once Heather gave us direction for our kitchen remodel and living room plans. I would highly recommend Heather Freeman Design Co. for any personal or business design needs or desires you may have.

> My husband and I recently built a new home. I felt overwhelmed with all of the decisions that needed to be made with décor, so I hired Heather Freeman Design Co to do a consult with me. Heather helped me focus on the areas that would be the most impactful and offered great advice for areas that I needed help pulling together. I'm looking forward to using her services again in the future.

> Heather Freeman Design has been an absolute dream to work with on our new home! Heather is terrific at developing plans that reflect our personal style, as well as adding new ideas and details that take our style up to a more polished and professional level. She works quickly and thoroughly, and she is absolutely always available for quick consultations, even during the weekend and at nights. Her design presentations for our home literally took my breath away with their exquisite style and creativity, and she has been a tireless coach for me as I develop my own eye as I learn about interior design along the way. I would recommend her for anyone, especially for those who want to work alongside their decorator and contribute to and learn in the process. She has a great gift for the entire range of skills required of a successful decorator, from terrific style to fastidious organization to top-notch consumer advocacy in the shopping and purchasing process. Overall--An excellent design company!

> This team made my part stress free! It was so simple to follow links they provided me and then easily purchase the collections.
> I really can't thank the HFDC team enough. I'm so impressed with the process and their design/staging options, working within our budget and timeline was great. I think most people have the idea that working with an interior designer/professional organizer is costly, and not worth your money...but it so is! So many of their options appeals to a much larger market than I originally thought.

> Heather Freeman Design team was delightful to work with, and will use them again in the future.

> I hired Heather to help with interior design for a loft apartment that I had recently moved to. The space was small, but showed character with well worn wooden floors and exposed brick. Heather was great at helping me bring this space to life. With a lively nod toward mid-century modern design, she helped with everything from furniture selection to art work.
>
> Whether she was sourcing items from the Internet, flea markets and other local venues, she was able to fit everything comfortably within my budget, while finding some truly fun and unique items along the way that perfectly fit my personality and sense of style.
>
> You can tell she loves her work and brings a wealth of creative input to a job. A pleasure to work with and highly recommended!

> I hired Heather to redecorate 3 rooms in my house including guest room, master suite and living room. I could not be more happy with the results! She was amazing to work with, VERY affordable and I had so much fun in the process. I really like that she took my thoughts and opinions and ran with it. I told her what I wanted to keep and the things I wanted to change and she did all the searching for me. For example I wanted new chairs, rug, comforter, pillows, drapes and lamps (as well as many new knick knacks). After discussing what I was looking for she sent me many choices to pick from until I narrowed it down. I liked being part of the process and her dedication to helping me find exactly what I wanted for my price range. I will DEFINITELY be hiring her for all future projects.

  - Description: This home sits in the historic district of Independence, Missouri. Since it is over 100 years old, some traditional elements were chosen, such as the rug and antique chandelier. The room was then painted white, and fresh accents along with mid-century pieces were brought in.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Painting framed?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is there a frame on the canvas painting? How did u do that?

A: Actually it was a gallery formed piece from a big box store that I painted over. Google "Blick Floater Frames" for something similar.

**Q: Map** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where did the map on the wall come from?

A: Urband Outfitters a few years ago.

**Q: where could I purchase the bench?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This was from HomeGoods. Each location has different items.

**Q: May I ask what your wall color is?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This was in a client's town home and the walls were painted prior to her moving in. My apologies that I can't give you an answer.

**Q: Rug** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where did you get the rug? I want a solid rug but with a tiled or texture like this.

A: It was purchased several years ago at a discount store. I believe it was a HomeDecorator's rug.

**Q: who makes the door knob and what style is it? thanks!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It was purchased from Lowe's about 4 years ago. I do not know the brand or model. So sorry.
