He had done an amazing job on their home, so we brought him out to the 50s ranch that we were under contract on. The house has an addition on a concrete slab that was not quite even with the wooden subfloor of the original house. This had been covered up with carpet, but we were desperate for hardwoods or the like. The other contractor we interviewed said that he couldn't do anything about the floor level, but Bob didn't miss a beat in telling us how he'd take care of it and recommending what types of flooring we could use.
