> We love our new drought tolerant front yard!  Dominic was great at listening to us, then sharing ideas of his own.   Our yard had problems.  It is a pie-shaped yard, with a large tree in the middle, and other problems left over from previous attempts.  Dominic addressed them all.    He put a rock stream bed around the tree.  There is now a wall giving privacy to the area near the front of the house.    The lighting he designed makes everything look magical at night.   Dominic stayed in touch during the whole process discussing every issue and every plant choice with us.  His crews were all talented, and the work was done on schedule.  Our yard looks magnificent.  Not only is it stunning to look at, but it is easy to care for with its drip irrigation.  For anyone looking for a talented, creative, easy to work with landscaper dp environments is the place to go.

> We had 1000 sf of lawn removed and replaced with drought tolerant landscaping.  We also added a redwood fence around the property.  DP handled everything from design, lawn removal, plant selection, irrigation and building the fence.  We found a large granite fountain (weighing in at about 1000 lbs) we just couldn't live without.  Dominic and his crew had a can-do attitude about getting it in place and operating, which was much more difficult than I imagined it would be.  Six men had to move the fountain approximately 100 feet from the truck to the final resting spot.  They place shims and checked and re-checked the fountain was level.  Several unforeseen issues arouse during the project, but a problem was never relayed to me without being followed up with a logical (and inexpensive) solution.  I was very impressed with the entire crew's work ethic and desire for doing the job right.  There have been a few issues with the irrigation system - caused by gophers or some other rodent - A crew showed up within hours to fix the issue.  Dominic is extremely knowledgable regarding the best plants for the location and can visualize how the plants will grow and will look in the months and years to come.  I (eventually) grew to trust his instinct and advice.  I would strongly recommend DP Environments for any landscaping job from design to implementation and upkeep.  The only thing I would do differntly would be to look into a company who specializes in fences to build the fence and treat the wood.

Do you know what type of wood was used for this wall?

A: Yes these were redwood planks with a semitransparent stain. Thanks!

A: Hi!  The squares are a custom pour, if I remember correct they are close to 39 inches.

A: Thanks! I believe the stain was a Behr product but I don't recall the exact one. Sorry.

A: Thank you very much!  The plant in the foreground is Pennisetum 'Fireworks'.  If you are in SoCal, they can be purchased at budgetplants.com.

hi there.  do you know the stucco color on the firepit?  Love your designs!

A: Thanks! I dont recall the stucco color exactly but I do know it was a La Habra stucco.  It may have been the Aspen.
