My sectional has been sitting at local warehouse for 2 weeks and no one has no idea why it has not been delivered. I got a call from Alice on 9/15 saying it will be delivered on Friday 9/17. I called American West and spoke with Laura to ask what time Friday, she could not tell me where my sectional was and if he could be delivered the day I was told. I have been waiting for over a month just or delivery and waited 5 months for production. We try to be up front about realistic time frames, because we don't want customers to experience any delays. Our production time frame is usually 4-6 weeks plus shipping, but unfortunately with the pandemic, we've been experiencing unforeseen delays here and there, and had to adjust our expectations accordingly. Also this time of the year, with several holidays and vendors shutting down for inventory, the time frame is expected to be a little bit longer than normal, and I apologize for any inconvenience the longer time frame may cause you. I will make sure to try to put a rush on your order if possible. Well they did! When I called and explained the situation they confirmed they got the updated dimensions but someone must of overlooked it and continued with the 10×8 but we should have caught it when we finalized the paperwork. So we were met with its our fault and there is nothing we can do. After picking the swatch from a number of choices, the couch took the full 6 weeks and was then delivered with a completely different fabric. They admitted and apologized for the mistake and offered me $250 to keep the wrong couch. If I wanted to get the original fabric I ordered, I would have had to wait an additional 4 weeks and was offered no compensation whatsoever. I decided to keep the couch and money as I did not want to deal with the process any further. The couch is well made but not what I was hoping for. **Comment from Monarch Sofas:** > Hi Dan, I'm so sorry there was a mix up with the fabric. Of course we stand behind our products and offered to make the sectional in the correct fabric for you. We offered to rush it for 3-4 weeks and you could keep the other sectional and use it in your home until the new one was delivered. The sample you liked was the Regis Silver and the order invoice you signed said Sasha silver, which neither the sales person, nor you noticed when the order was written up, unfortunately. Our normal production time is up to 6 weeks because everything (fabric, frames, legs, cushion fill) is custom ordered and made specifically for your custom order. You decided you didn't want to wait for the new sectional, and asked for a discount instead, which we offered and you agreed to. I'm sorry you felt prompted to leave a negative review, since I was under the impression the discount was to your satisfaction. We would have been happy to make the sectional in the correct fabric for you, and you would not be without anything to sit on for that time.. The door to the side porch shows in the second picture. There is a kitchen with an island is on the right of that side porch door. The first picture was taken from the front door facing this space and a stairway is just across from the front door. I can't decide between two sofas in an L shape with a table and lamp or a sectional. I'd love a game or puzzle table in there if possible. That side view is pretty so maybe swivel chairs? Any advice? This is view from front door into the space kitchen on back left dining on back right stairway not showing but just ahead on right. A walkway leading to kitchen dining is the "boundary" of the sitting area that would have either a sofa or part of the sectional backing up to it. I guess a credenza or something would go on the stairway wall. I'm looking for help and suggestions on layout, color and any other specifics. As you can see, style is contemporary leaning toward midcentury. I actually really like the existing sectional, but it's pretty grungy and needs replacement. I'm looking for couch, coffee table, chair(s), rug, lamp(s) - the whole 9 yards. The whole floor plan is open - the pictures show the view into the kitchen and dining room. The living room area is 18' wide (fireplace to bookshelves), and about 12.5' deep (from the window in toward the middle) Thanks for your help!
