The craftsmanship was excellent and the price was very reasonable. I consulted 3 large companies including California Closets for designs and pricing. J&C was able to provide custom-made cabinet systems, using plywoods, while other national companies would have used laminated materials. They took a couple of days longer than they had communicated but the owners were courteous and professional. It's in perfect condition but I'm not loving the style or finish. Is there any way to easily darken it, without stripping it? Or any other creative things I could do to update it? She had inherited her grandmother's piano and could never think of giving it away but it was somewhat of an eye sore. So she brought it in to us and we painted it matte black for her. Not much stripping was involved. Mainly light sanding and painting. It gave her treasured antique a modern appeal :) **Q: This is a neat drawer!
