### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Thomas Hay, March 2026**

> Jeanne was amazing. She helped turn my run down 20 year old garage into a gleaming new multipurpose room in our home. Jeanne is extremely knowledgeable about her products, totally helpful in proposing and modifying design elements and quickly available for consultations. She can manage the entire project from tear-out to finish and has a good ey for style. And she listens! Jeanne was recommended to me by two very satisfied neighbors and now I know why: she's amazing.

**★★★★★ — David L, Jan. 2026**

> Jeanne is a great designer and a wonderful person. She came to our house and worked with us to design exactly what we wanted. She kept up with us with any changes she suggested and did a wonderful job. The technicians she sent to our house were clean and efficient and put everything together in the timeframe that they had allotted. We couldn’t be more happy with the work.

> Jeanne designed a beautiful queen size Murphy bed with side closet and drawers that turned our office into another guest room! Custom fit, looks amazing and less than what you’d think. Turnaround was fairly quick too. Beautiful showroom and factory so you can review designs and see real options.

> We used Jeanne for all the closet designs as well as an office design and install. She is the consummate professional. Extraordinarily patient, professional and knowledgeable. Jeanne can take your design idea and bring it to life. In addition to that, Closet Factory's installation team was outstanding.

**★★★★★ — William Gelo, Aug. 2023**

> Ms. Hessen came highly recommended and she did not disappoint. We had a specific design in mind and Jeanne was able to show us ways to improve it. The entertainment/bookcase came out better than I anticipated. We also had a storage/printer/file cabinet built in and finally we had a closet designed for my wife's craft items. all 3 designs came out perfectly . Jeanne will be highly recommended to any of my new neighbors who are looking for a designer with vision and who will make sure whatever project you have in mind will be perfect.

**★★★★★ — Susie, Jan. 2023**

> Jeanne was a pleasure to work with. The process was quick, easy, and smooth. We loved her ideas and easy going manner.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Keep mirror or no?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Updating my kitchen and dining room. Do I keep the large mirror in the dining room (maybe paint it white) or does it go?

A: I would remove it especially if you are updating. Mirrors are decorative and useful where you need to expand a space that reflects on an outdoor area or decorative area, or when you need to use it to check yourself. This does neither. I am sure you can find another area in the house for it. Also it appears that the rug size is too small for the area and I think it would look best to have no curtains at all. Remember less is best when designing.
