Mike was really prompt with reply and came out to give me an estimate within couple days. After the estimate, he started the work, which involves installing one kitchen and two bathroom countertops, sinks, microwave, range, removing old cabinet crown with new one, tiles for fireplace and backsplashes, and removing cabinets. Mike was able to give me good contacts for all the material needed and he finished the job on time as we planned. He took the room down to the studs and installed radiant floors and an enlarged walk-in shower with a floating bench. We plan to stay in our home as we age and wanted to make the bathroom handicap accessible. The meticulous work Mike did on the tile installation makes the bathroom very stylish and beautiful. We couldn't be happier with how it turned out. Now he is working on converting our walk-in pantry into a laundry room. Next he will install our new kitchen. A: I would not use GacoDeck again after learning about another product. Duckback has come out with a product called Superdeck Deck and Dock which is an elastomeric coating. This product is designed to fills cracks 1/4 wide and waterproofs extremely damaged wood and concrete surfaces. No need to use the fiber tape on plywood seam if properly prepared prior to Deck & Dock top coat applications. I love this stuff! Dunn Lumber carries it and Sherwin-Williams has it as well. Comes in plenty of stock colors but Sherwin-Williams can match whatever color you want. For me Sherwin-Williams has the best prices. Some application will require Duckback P-3 primer so ask your retail source for advise or call Duckback customer service @ 1-800-825-5382. You can also add the anti-skid additive to create a slip resistant surface as well. Again Sherwin-Williams would be the place to go because they can produce whatever color you want. This product has been around for 4 years so it is fairly new to the market. It will be well received once discovered by all.
