> Ordered a square foot of tile and they sent me a sample. Annoying, but I figured it was an easy fix since, if the color worked, I was planning on ordering more for a shower wall and they could just adjust the price. Ordered an additional 50 square feet and got an email saying the order had shipped. Next day got an email saying they only had 10 square feet in stock and that I would be getting a refund. I would avoid this place.

**Comment from Subway Tile Outlet:**

> As previously explained, the warehouse preprints shipping labels with the order pull tag prior to pulling orders, as we have found this to be the best method of processing orders expeditiously. When pulling your order it was discovered that the count for this tile was short of stock at 20 sqft. As soon as this was noticed, you were contacted and offered alternate sizing/color options but requested refund. Refund was processed the same day as your request.

> We placed an order for $715, (45 sq. ft of Aqua glass subway tile.) We saw how dark the color was and placed a new order for the same amount of tile in a different color.
> We paid over $500 for express shipping and when I emailed about the RMA for the first batch, I was told that I had to ship it back at my expense and pay a $200+ restocking fee to Subway Tile Outlet. (Even though I placed another full order.) That seemed so ridiculous that I would rather keep the tile and donate it, than lose another $200. I understand that it may be their policy, but when I placed the second order over the phone, the young man who took my order should have made me aware of that.

> Our posted return policy states: You can return any unwanted, uninstalled items within 30 days for any reason. Upon receipt of your return we will inspect the items and will credit you the full amount minus our original shipping fee, that was covered at our expense.

We do not offer exchanges, but she was advised of the return policy and her refund amount as per the posted return policy via an emailed RMA. She decided to keep the order and reorder an alternate color.  As discussed with the customer, standard shipping for glass tile is via UPS Ground and is free when ordering with us. She requested expedited shipping, which is at her expense.

**Q: Pearl Shell Tile** *(in Photo Questions)*

You mentioned that its a groutless tile - I'm looking to do the same on my frameless mirror.  What adhesive is used.

A: You can use any tile adhesive preferably non sanded. Also tile glue can be used as well.

A: Unfortunately, we do not have the paint color referenced that was used in this photo, we do sell the White 1"x2" Mini Glass Subway Tile that was used as the backsplash.

**Q: Cleaning** *(in Product Questions)*

Hi i’m wondering about the rationale of using this on our bathroom floor at our lake camp. Grass, and sand get tracked in fairly regularly. How would this be cleaned and would it hold up. Love the look!

A: This tile will require thin set adhesive, sanded grout, and sealant.
Sealant typically lasts 2-3 years between applications and will aid in protecting the stones but if in contact with sand and debris may require more frequent reapplication. 
The type and brand will be dependent on the finish desired, ie: wet/glossy finish will need a high gloss finishing sealant or a matte/natural finish will require a 511 impregnator sealant.

**Q: Can you remove individual tiles & replace if color is off?** *(in Product Questions)*

A: This is a natural shell tile and natural tones in the shell are what gives it beauty and light play.
You can remove tile chips and replace, however it may ruin the integrity of having a groutless tile, Tile chips are cut to fill grout areas and may vary slightly to ensure a full coverage, so a replacement might not be a perfect fit.

Can you remove individual tiles is they are 'discolored'?

A: This tile is primary white but is not bleached. This is a natural shell tile, so there may be beige and grey undertones that come through naturally.
