Instead you have to drive to their office to see the presentation. If you're like me, picturing what a table may look like in your home is difficult enough. Add the fact that you only get to see a picture of the table from a catalog/online site. It becomes very difficult. At least if I'm home, I can print it out, or walk around with a picture of the table (or whatever piece of furniture) on my phone to try to visualize. > > When you do eventually see the presentation, if you don't like anything that was picked out, or everything that was picked out. Keep in mind, you paid for their time to pick out those things that missed that bar. But you're also paying in time to review the presentation, to tell them you don't like the things you pick out. This is obviously a process that doesn't scale well if the design keeps missing, as you continually pay for an unsatisfactory service. There is NO satisfaction guaranteed clause from them. I feel like there must have been a miscommunication about our process. > > The Design Process starts with a meeting at our office or your home to discuss the scope of the project and begin visualize a design solution that aligns with your lifestyle and budget. After we have agreed to work together, we take the information you have given us and we begin to create a design plan, which can be a lengthy process. > Phase 1: This process begins with the designer creating floor plans to verify sizes of furniture, rugs, etc to accommodate your needs. Then the sourcing begins. Depending on the project, this could include furniture, paint, rugs, fabrics and numerous items. We are looking for product that fits the area, budget and lifestyle. We like to have at least 3 options (ex. dining room tables) to present to help us narrow down the client’s likes and dislikes. > > Phase 2: This is a very critical phase. We meet in person with the client to do a complete presentation which includes all the selections. At this time, we go over of all the choices and explain our thoughts on why we chose that fabric or piece of furniture. The client then also expresses their likes and dislikes.
