> We were looking for a back-splash that would tie together the various elements of our almost completed kitchen. Based on a referral, we dropped by Edgewater Studio in North Vancouver. The knowledgeable and friendly staff presented us with various options. They spent time with us to help us pick materials and come up with a pattern to put those elements together. We ended up picking art glass as the material, and we were able to come up with a custom pattern. The art glass tile they provided is so unique and beautiful. We love the look of our new kitchen, and one of the favourite parts is the art glass back-splash. Thank-you Edgewater staff.

> When I was looking to specify a very unique back splash tile for a client's kitchen renovation I discovered Edgewater Studio and was blown away by seemingly endless patterns and colours of glass and stone tiles that they can produce.  With the help of one of their very knowledgeable sales team I opted for a high gloss glass tile in a moorish tile pattern that was back painted in the Benjamin Moore paint colour of my choice. Edgewater provided the support required (scaled drawings & installation instructions) for the best possible results and the finished product was pristine. Both the client and I were thrilled with the final results. I highly recommend Edgewater Studio to anyone looking for a bespoke statement tile and excellent service to go along with it.

**Q: love the scales!  What is the specific color to purchase?** *(in Photo Questions)*

If I were to order, what would be the specific name, color, size, make etc. of these specific scale tiles.  They are beautiful.

A: Hello, thanks for getting in touch! We produce this 2.5-inch "Scale" tile, and our company is called Edgewater Studio. The exact colour is discontinued, but we have a similar one called "Aquamarine"

**Q: Is this tile suitable for use in a steam shower?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can this be used in a steam shower?  Is it rated for floor use?  Do you ship to the US?  Thanks!

**Q: White kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am doing a complete kitchen remodel and seem to be second guessing myself all the way. I wanted white walls, the cabinets arrived much creamier than I had thought. I now have stark white walls and cream cabinets. How do I pull this together?

A: I think a backsplash is a great solution for functional touches of personality to a plain kitchen. We carry many unique styles, and some are more neutral with nice textural aspects, where others are bold and add a lot of character.
