> Derek Bagin of B & B Pools:    Our 1970’s Anthony gunite in-ground pool  developed a severe  plumbing leak  problem I   Derek sat down with us in the Fall 2012 and together we formulated a  renovation plan to begin 2013.  As promised, his  crew  began the reconstruction in early Spring   - the work entailed, removal of existing cement deck, replacement of broken pipes, installation of new lines , skimmer, drains, heater , and , of course,  all equipment  met or exceed todays building codes .   He subcontracted  a paver expert to install new  stones to match existing decking – and added contours resulting in a very neat job - new tiles, coping, were also  installed in pool and spa – the spa in particular finished better than new!   Derek suggested improvements  as the  job progressed, such as the addition of decorative tiles to the plaster covering pool steps and benches. He also assisted in the procurement of a new diving board , a task not on the original plan but the necessary paperwork was  easily handled by Derek.  Together we devised an alternative plan to secure our pool cover to the new paver block deck.   In sum,  working with Derek and B &B   proved to be an enjoyable experience and  provided us with a  good looking functional swimming pool .

**Q: What type of pool is this? (concrete, fiberglass or something else)** *(in Photo Questions)*

This is beautiful!! :) I have a similarly sloped yard and would love to do something like this. Not sure of the $ involved, but would be interested to learn more.

A: This is a 1,000 sq ft gunite applied concrete pool with negative edge, raised spa, and fire bowls.

Can you please tell me what type of pool this is and the dimensions? Would like to see if this would work in our backyard. Please respond.

A: This is an 800 sq ft freeform gunite pool

**Q: how do you tie the waterfall into the pool?** *(in Photo Questions)*

in other words, how do you ensure that the water makes its way back into the pool and is not lost through the water feature?  do you incorporate the water feature on a shelf in the shell of the pool, do you use a liner, etc..?

A: The waterfall is built on a gunite structure that is monolithic to the pool. No liners needed. There is also a gunite basin that is built to the structure of the pool

What is the plaster type and color?

A: This is French Grey Hydrazzo

**Q: What finish does the Allendale freeform pool have?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Wondering if this is a gunite pool, and if so if the finish happens to be diamond brite.  If so, could you please tell me the color?

A: Gunite pool with Hatteras Grey Hydrazzo interior finish.  Diamond Brite is a little rougher finish than Hydrazzo

Is this bluestone?

A: The patio is Norwegian buff stone and the coping is Bluestone
