Everyone else (plumbers, general contractor, and tile guys) said nothing. Mia Shower doors would have had a bigger ticket install if they had also kept silent while I had those benches installed. Robin took one look at my specs., stuck her neck out and told me: "get a friend, two 5gallon buckets, and go into that space with them". > > She was absolutely right. It would have been terrible! > > If you've not done a shower enclosure installation before, whoever you're working with should be adamant about taking measurements themselves, and only after all the tile work is finished. Mia does this. I thought "that's nice, they're obsessive about attention to detail". It wasn't just that. Not all walls are perfectly plumb from top to bottom (especially after tile work). They showed up to take detailed measurements with a 4' long level and digital angle finder to make sure everything fit perfectly. > > On installation day they were careful to lay out floor and ground coverings everywhere they were working and minimize back & forth traffic. Throughout the whole process they were pleasant to deal with and very conscientious! > > After dealing with gouging contractors who inflate prices and resent inquiry, tile guys that think cutting a straight line is 'premium work' and all the other assorted headaches I was just about ready to burn my house down and call it a day. Robert and Robin visited our home, removed our existing enclosure, took detailed measurements, and helped us decide on the best style to fit our bathroom. We placed a 50% deposit with them in late July to order the glass. We were informed at the time that the turn-around was typically 3-4 weeks. It is now mid-September and we still do not have our new enclosure. We can accept delays, what is unacceptable is the lack of communication. Our calls, texts, and emails have gone mostly unanswered. The one exception was an answered phone call and even then we were told they would call us back in a few days. We were never called back. We are concerned that we have been swindled out of our 50% deposit. We will happily update our review if we ever hear from Mia Shower Doors again. > Update: Mia Shower Doors did get back in touch with us and has completed the project. They apologized for the delay and lack of communication. The project was completed at an acceptable discounted rate due to the delay. I** *(in Photo Questions)* A: This neo angle shower had a 31" door on the left wall, the center panel was 25" and the right wall panel was the same as the door at 31". Overall glass height is 79". This design used oil rubbed bronze hardware and upgraded low iron glass. **Q: What are the dimensions of this shower enclosure?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: It's huge. The height is aprox. 9 ft.
