We moved walls, moved pluming, gutted rooms, moved bathrooms, raised floors, added transoms above almost every door, and painted everything like a vacation home! She had a master plan that we walked through, but she was open to a lot of 'adjusting' as we saw opportunities (added transoms to the closets that matched the doorways, so we don't have to turn on the lights to see). It completely changed the home. We raised the floor in a sunken sunroom, and she matched the existing hardwood floor from the living room. It's so seamless, even I can't see where the old floor stopped and the new one begins. Even my kids were amazed and have all said 'this isn't the same house!' Being 25 years old, it was very dated and needed an update. This renovation not only added hundreds of thousands of dollars to the value of the home, it made me want to stay, and no sell. I feel like I'm on vacation when I'm home, with tons of light, windows, French doors, and the kitchen is over the top. If one can afford a major renovation, and has the patience, as these things take time to do right, she's the right person to call.
