> Garden Artists and Earth Whisperers
> There’s magic in my backyard now. Thanks to Love & Carrots, our home is no longer just a residence—it’s an experience.
>
> They transformed an ordinary space into a vibrant tapestry of greens, blooms, and buzzing life. Tomatoes in every shade, lush greens, fresh herbs, and bees that hum hymns of nature’s abundance. Their team didn’t rush, didn’t guess—they listened. They honored my 85-year-old mother’s rhythms, ensuring she could enjoy and connect to each Garden Therapy visit.
>
> Every visit felt like a return to purpose. Every harvest basket felt like a hug.
>
> Thank you for your vision, your care, and your brilliance.
> We are forever grateful.

> I have a one bedroom apartment in Dupont Circle with an east-facing balcony. I do not a green thumb. I've been known to kill cactus. I have subscribed to a Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm in the past. It was cool, but I've always wanted to learn how to grow my own food. Love and Carrots helped me do that on my balcony. They built the container garden and planted tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, eggplant, peppers, and herbs (basil, parsley, chives, etc.). I also used their coaching service during the growing season. My coach, Morgan, came to my apartment every other week to show me how to take care of my garden and how to prevent and treat problems. It was such a great experience and Morgan was so knowledgable. I learned how manually pollinate my cucumbers because bees didn't get up to my garden.

> I am a client of Love & Carrots and I highly recommend their installation and garden coaching services. When I first reached out to Love & Carrots, Meredith arranged a meeting at my home in a timely fashion. She really listened to what I wanted to gain from gardening. When I needed to postpone scheduling installation due to unforeseen circumstances, Meredith was very flexible. The installers were friendly and respectful of my home and property. I also use Love & Carrots biweekly for garden coaching from spring to fall. My coach, Morgan, is extremely knowledgeable and very easy going. Meredith, Morgan, and the other Love & Carrot employees with whom I have spoken/worked are passionate about gardening and excited for their clients to experience growing their own food. I also like that they work with elementary schools to teach children about gardening. I feel very valued as a Love & Carrots client, if I ever have questions, my emails/phone calls are addressed in a timely fashion. My vegetable garden has become a passion and I can't imagine the experience being as rewarding if I were not working with Love & Carrots.

  - Description: One of the most important aspects of growing your own food is attracting pollinators to your plants. No pollinators means no food! Pollinators like bees are fast disappearing, but using native plants is one proven way to preserve important pollinator species. In addition, native plants are more adapted to our climate, usually requiring less water usage and adding year round beauty to your space. We always recommend incorporating native plants into a garden design.
