After Hurricane Harvey brought 2 feet of water into our home, Gerald showed up unannounced to coordinate the volunteer remediation team. After our house was lifted 5 feet, Modern Build completed the exterior finish of the lift and then proceded with the interior repair and remodeling. We ran into the subcontractor shortage that Harvey created, but Gerald really hustled to secure skilled crews to get the job done. The Modern Build team did an outstanding job, and we couldn't be more pleased. Highly recommend! **★★★★★ — HU-757896780, Aug. 2018** > I’ve worked with Gerald and his team on two different projects. The first was a complete landscaping remodel with a mixture of architectural details such as stamped concrete patio, corten steel planters, contemporary fencing and dividers and a water feature. Throughout the project Gerald was very professional, keeping me up to date on progress and also providing great ideas to make the garden better. However Gerald’s strongest attribute is his focus on quality. He uses the best materials and isn’t satisfied unless the result is spot on. The final result is outstanding. The second project was more mundane: adding an exterior window behind my kitchen sink. Once again the project progressed smoothly with the final result being my favorite ‘upgrade’ to date.
