In the early 1990s, Scott was presented with an opportunity to come out west to work for a construction remodeling company located in beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea. He said goodbye to the south and hello to the west coast. Soon after, he built his career on a solid foundation learning as much as he could about construction, continuously working on high-end home remodels and building homes from the foundation up. In 2000, he studied for the California General Contractors License and ventured into his new career of entrepreneurship as a General Contractor. Since then, Scott had drafted, designed, torn down, remodeled, and built from the foundation up, more homes than one could count. Michelle handles the back-end of Pacific Blu. She manages the financials, the digital world of our cloud-based construction project management software, and leads our crew team meetings. Michelle also adds a little sprinkle of marketing in between. Michelle led a corporate legal career, which she put to rest years back, and took a leap of faith and venture into construction and real estate when she and Scott said their “I do’s”. However, working with Pacific Blu has been a wonderful experience. For me the proof of excellence is how well the GC handles whatever issues arise, and while we didn't have any super major issues, the few that came up were taken care of immediately and to a satisfactory outcome. For example when the range top was not installed by the people who were supposed to do it (Pirch), Scott dashed on over and got the job done immediately. All the workers did an immaculate job - floors, fireplace, cabinets, counters, painters etc. And they left the work areas clean. Of course the renovation took a wee bit longer than we were told it would but then I gather that's the way these things work. I now feel like I live inside a magazine photo.
