> Alex Cisneros, the owner of this business, contracted with me for a professional photography project to shoot a luxury  apartment in Arlington, Virginia. She paid a 50% deposit on my estimate, met me at the job site and I did the shoot. I then delivered proofs and asked her to make selections. Time passed and after several emails weeks apart she said she was busy and would make the selections the next day. Thereafter I have heard nothing from her despite  multiple calls and emails. She owes me for the balance of this project and has not paid me, nor even explained if there is any reason for not responding to me. I alert any contractors  to avoid this business if you want to get paid for the work you deliver. 

If she pays me and explains her behavior, I will consider  taking down this review.

> Over the summer, I had downsized from a larger house into a much smaller condo in East Austin.  Just the reduction of space caused enough panic to look for assistance in design.   Out of everyone I consulted, Alex was the most relatable and she was genuinely interested in design and assisting me instead of pushing products. I loved her more artistic approach and she made everything so easy and smooth. She took the time to meet with me, understood my budget/time with my busy schedule, and looked at the space and took measurements.  She worked with me through an idea board to pick the right pieces to really make my new place representative of my aesthetic.  The idea board she created for me nailed it on the head which was so impressive.   She has a great eye and is able to really understand someone's style before approaching a project.  She kept accurate records and maintained a high level of professionalism in the delivery of pieces and in the transactions.  She is great and I would highly recommend her for any help in designing a space!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Mesh on back of marble waterfall completely visible** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I would love thoughts on this. This is a marble peninsula with waterfall, the fabricators knew this but left the back completely unfinished. When I walk in the house it is the first thing I see! They want to put a piece of marble over it so the waterfall would have 2 pieces of marble basically sandwiched together. I personally think this would look ridiculous. The wood under the counter is unfinished bc they want to put this marble in place first. I would love anyone's input and what you would do. I am upset because we spent a lot of time and money on this. Thanks, Amy

A: You could always panel or tile the underside / finish it out with drywall and a textured paint for a faster fix
