> David led the entire gut renovation of our Santa Monica town home - hands down, he is the best!  David was an incredible partner throughout the entire project.  From the first time that we met (he was on time, friendly and had incredible ideas) to delivering an SOW within days, to solving complex problems to completing the work with the highest quality, I cannot possibly imagine having done with project with anyone else!  I had done renovations of kitchens/ bathrooms, but never a full gut reno - the project seemed a bit overwhelming, but David made it as easy as possible!  His communication is incredible - we met with him a couple of times a week for walk thrus, and he was always available via text/ email (I think we texted every day!)  He also had fantastic suggestions... from the major stairwork, to the kitchen design to interested closet doors to a modern/ spa-like barn door for the master bath (frosted glass lets in light and the barn door saves a lot of space vs. a swinging door)... he is fantastic!

> I first hired David in 2009 when my tenant phoned with a rather urgent situation in my condo. The challenge was that I live 1500 miles away. I found David on Angie's List and what a find it was. He solved that problem, which ended up being a relatively minor plumbing problem in the bathroom. But he found that the condo was in really poor shape, so when the tenant moved shortly thereafter, he did a complete kitchen and bath renovation, painted, removed ceiling stipple, and recarpeted. He came in right on budget and the result was gorgeous. Over the following years, he provided help to my tenants, and more recently, got the unit ready for sale. We got 15% more than our asking price and I know that was in large part due to the pride he took in his work to make the unit gorgeous. I absolutely recommend David for any construction or renovation work you need. He is well connected with top trades people in the area, from the window guys, to electricians, and the final cleaning crew. We are excited about the sale of our unit but very disappointed that we will likely not be able to work with David again (we live in Canada). Throughout all of our projects, he communicated regularly with us, including pictures, so we knew exactly what he was recommending. His estimates were always right on and he ALWAYS finished the job on time. Absolutely you will not regret enlisting David's help.
