When the plans were finalized and approved and we finally broke ground, their crew, project manager & the subs were fantastic: prompt, reliable, communicative, and professional. We had a pretty audacious goal to remove all the walls between the kitchen, dining room and living room in our 1940 Dolger home to give a more open and airy feel. We re-imagined a new “great room” in a hybrid style with old and new aspects, along with a healthy dollop of mid-century modern. We knew it would be tricky to make that transitional style cohesive, and knew the engineering aspect of removing walls would also be a challenge. A: I unfortunately don't have that info anymore. We did this project many years ago. I would call it a medium sized kitchen if that helps in any way. **Q: can I put a shower in a rhomboid space?** *(in Photo Questions)* I have a small space in an angular bedroom where I want to add a small limited full bath— trying to work with angled corners and a window — would it be better to put a toilet or sink under the window? A: Hi. As long as the shower meets your building code, it can go anywhere in any shape! As for the window, I would put the toilet under the window.
