Wilco is a custom cabinet design/manufacture firm.  We work directly with our clients on design and layout of the cabinetry, selections of wood species and finishes, counter top selections, mouldings, and design details.  We build the cabinetry at our facility in Green Bay Wisconsin and have our own installation crews. ## Community Q&A

**Q: What color/finish is the mantel and TV cabinet?  Love it!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The finish is a grey stain called Fog.  It is grey with brown undertones and has been very popular in our line.  Unfortunately it is a custom mix and I have not seen it offered by the major stain manufacturers so you will have to work with your local paint store to achieve this look.  Good luck on your project.

**Q: Cabinet color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you tell me the name and manufacturer of the pearl/cream cabinet color?

A: The sheen is a 35 degree sheen which is in between a satin (20 degree sheen) and  and glossy (60 degree sheen).  Conversion paint is used by cabinet companies such as ours (Wilco Cabinet Makers) for cabinetry and it must be sprayed on with a spray system and a catalyst is added that makes the finish more durable than a brush on.   If you are wanting to paint existing cabinetry in your home I recommend working with your local paint store that carries Benjamin Moore and review the different sheens available, but avoid the glossiest finish as this will come off as too plastic looking and will accentuate every defect and flaw.
