**★ — Susan Gray Miller, Sept. 2022**

> The designer was a nightmare to work with. The designer was more interested in just a quick easy layout, that he probably had from another job then actually helping. the designer would not listen and had to be told numerous times that walls and windows were being changed out, yet each design he never changed them. At one point in time even the contractor said, " The designer just doesn't listen."

**★★★★★ — PS & Daughters, July 2017**

> Excellent service from beginning to end... Kevin is the design professional we always work with at A&C and I've never been disappointed. He listens to my budgetary restrictions and helps me come up with creative solutions for every client. I just keep coming back for my clients needs, big and small! Thank you A&C!

**★★★★★ — betharamas, Feb. 2017**

> Jenny did an amazing job maximizing the space in our small kitchen. She made so many suggestions that we would never had considered on our own. We were amazed how well the design turned out with just the measurements that we provided to her. Jenny was very patient with us and our indecisiveness and guided through the process for a beautiful kitchen!

**★★ — jeanetteba, Dec. 2015**

> The consultant was / is too inexperienced to be working without any guidance or overseer. She made many assumptions which caused havoc for the contractors i.e. miscalculated space so window edging had to be cut into half the widge for 1/2 the window; not enough molding, etc.

**★★★★★ — gaulisa, Oct. 2015**

> I purchased new kitchen cabinets for my kitchen and worked with consultant Jenny to lay out my new design. She did an excellent job and could not have been more helpful and professional.

**★★★★★ — Decorative Design Interiors, July 2015**

> I have worked with A & C Kitchens for ten years on many projects. I cannot say enough positive things about the quality of the products they sell and the professional manner in which they sell them. As a designer myself, I depend on their expertise in an area where mine is limited. Kevin Spevak has been wonderful! He listens to my ideas and then creates something better than I had hoped for!

**★★★★★ — kateforbes1, July 2015**

> We ordered our vanity from A&C when we remodeled our master bathroom. The Kraftmaid vanity and the Wolf quartz top are beautiful. Neil was extremely easy to work with from the beginning and when problems arose, he quickly helped solve them. I look forward to working with A&C again in the future.

**★★★★★ — Gavin Design-Build Inc., June 2015**

> I have worked with A&C Kitchen & Bath for many years. They are a GREAT company with very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Whenever they were any problems they were on top of it and quickly corrected the situation. They have a great showroom and their pricing is very competitive.
> I would HIGHLY recommend them!

**★★★★★ — James Falisi & Son Building Contractors Inc., May 2015**

> I have been dealing with A and C Kitchens for more than 20 years and I can honestly say it has been an absolute pleasure. I have relied on their professionalism for design ideas and can always count on them to work closely with my client's needs and budget. I have had several clients express to me how pleased they were to have worked with Neil Kienzle on their Kitchen and Bath designs. Neil is very attentive to detail and takes his time to be certain his clients are completely satisfied. I would highly recommend this company to anyone interested in purchasing quality cabinetry.

**★★★★★ — Bellweather Design-Build, April 2015**

> We've worked with A&C on many kitchen and bath projects. Their showroom is attractive. Their design work is great. Their customer service is exceptional. Their cabinets are quality. Whether our client is on a budget, or looking for something more "high end," we've found it here. We'll continue to bring clients to A&C because we feel comfortable with their staff and trust their products.

**★★★★★ — TRV Design Build, LLC, Jan. 2014**

> Dave at A&C worked with my clients in designing and selecting the perfect cabinetry to meet their needs. They are a valuable trade partner!

## Community Q&A

**Q: love the countertop..name?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: A&C Kitchens did not do the counter tops. I'm sorry i can not be of any help.

**Q: Cabinet pulls** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you please tell me the brand and style of the lovely pulls.

A: http://www.topknobsdecor.com/search/string/%20M503
I attached a link to the Manufacturer for you.

**Q: Remove Kitchen cabinet doors?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Looking forward, do you think open shelves / open cabinet boxes in Kitchens will catch on with home buyers? Would open shelves in the Kitchen deter you from buying a house that is otherwise very traditional and well kept?

A: I agree that it should be kept to a minimum and used as an accent. Keep in mind if you have existing cabinets the interior of the cabinet may not match the exterior which may look cheap if you just remove doors.

**Q: Help me pick paint for mudroom bench** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are nearing completion of our new build and I need to pick a paint colour for our mudroom locker/bench. I had been thinking we would just use the white trim colour, but my husband pointed out that it is going to show dirt and scratches more than a colour. The mudroom is BM wedgwood gray (which as you might see is actually blue), the main rooms are BM gray owl, with accents of a dark BM asphalt gray. So I was thinking I could chose either the light or dark gray that we have in the rest of the house (or the white trim colour) and it would be free and match.
Any suggestions?

A: Yes, the bottom 2/3 sounds good. You want to make sure that you can easily get the coats on/off the hooks as some of them are really tall. I think this is a great project and hope you post some final pics of the space so we can all see how you finished it off!

**Q: Granite countertop help** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My wife and I are doing a kitchen "facelift" painting cabinets, replacing laminate countertops with granite, new paint and stainless appliances. We are stuck on granite. We have been shopping for months and have visited a dozen places and have narrowed it down to a couple choices but are worried about how it will look with our floor tile. One choice is Giallo Ornamental. Here is a pick of a small sample against our floor tile. I know this isn't the best way to visualize
it. We plan on taking an extra floor tile to the granite store this week. The cabinets are pickled maple (yuck) and will be painted white (SW Snow Bound). Thoughts? I

A: I think putting the granite sample close to the tile is not the way to visualize the space. The tile and counter are going to be spaced apart by the cabinets and I think this combo would work. Giallo O is a very common and beautiful granite that has some garnet flecks in it. This should work nicely with the pink undertones of your tile.

**Q: Do I add a third chair?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Not sure if adding another chair would be too crammed?

A: Generally we recommend 24" of space per person for this type of seating. Your 2 chairs look good, I recommend spacing them differently to be more visually balanced. Love the color combination of your kitchen
