### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Digital Home Technologies, March 2018**

> Excellent working relationship with a profession builder on a creative and fun residence. Worked from ground up and have a very satisfied customer.

**★★★★★ — Clifford Levy, Nov. 2017**

> Ryan Johnstone of the Michael Stone Group is a consummate professional. Whether you are looking to renovate an existing property or are looking to build anew or anything in between, Ryan can do it all ! We are in the process of selling our home. We listed with the Micheal Stone Group because I believe our property deserves a new life and that is what the Michael Stone Group offers. You can buy as is, do minor work, or a major renovation. You can even demo and build a brand new house. The property deserves it which is why we went with Ryan Johnstone.

**★★★★★ — Jeff Owenson, Nov. 2017**

> Ryan built our home on Blackthorn Lane, near Walden school in Deerfield. We really felt he was our partner during the entire process. Building a home can be a daunting task but Ryan was there to be our sounding board and offer advice and design ideas that aligned with our budget. We are in a great location and love our home!

**★★★★★ — jeff holway, Nov. 2017**

> Ryan Johnstone is very knowledgeable on the market and he was persistent in his analysis and pursuit of the project

**★★★★★ — Alicia Rosenberg, Nov. 2017**

> We purchased a home built by Michael Stone Group and couldn’t be happier. The quality is outstanding and it is everything we were looking for and more. We bought this home because of the low manteinance features and layout. Because we have small children we wanted not only a home that looked great but that was also easy to live in. Ryan and Mick have been very helpful and we have been beyond thrilled with our new home.

**★★★★★ — RZ, July 2017**

> The house we purchased was built by Michael Stone Group and we could not be more pleased. Their high quality homes have all the necessary features required by today's modern home buyer -- lots of windows letting in abundant natural light, high ceilings, open floor plans, spacious bathrooms and closets, well designed high-end chef's kitchen, spacious mudroom, guest suite, etc. We've lived in our home for over 5 months and have a huge smile on our faces every time we walk in the door.

> Ryan Johnstone, founder of Michael Stone Group, is not a genuine person, he is a salesman and acts like he is above people. He cannot handle criticism or take blame for his contractor's mistakes or poor quality work demonstrated by his contractors. At the time of our build, we worked primarily with Michael DeBartolo (Mick), MSG's project manager. Mick showed compassion for us, our home and ultimately wanted to make us happy and do the right thing. Mick made sure that any issues or concerns we had were taken care of in a proper manner. Weeks after moving into our brand new home we discovered work that was unacceptably done. Mick agreed that the work was unsatisfactory and made sure that it was fixed properly by a contractor of our choosing (not a Michael Stone Group contractor). Four months after moving into our brand new home we experienced a leak in our kitchen ceiling. Our master shower was leaking into our kitchen. We lived in a construction zone with a hole in our kitchen ceiling and plastic tarps all over for 2 weeks. It was a huge inconvenience. Mick, again, was the one who saw to it that this was taken care of and was extremely apologetic about the issue. At the time of our One Year Warranty we found out that Mick was no longer with MSG and we had to deal with Ryan. We once again pointed out work that was not executed correctly when we first moved in; work that was promised to be fixed at our One Year Warranty. It was a nightmare working with Ryan. He showed no tolerance and was dismissive of our concerns regarding previous incompetent work.

**★★★★★ — Hendrix Bodden, Jan. 2017**

> Michael Stone Group is top notch in every way. Their attention to detail, customer service orientation, intense focus on quality and on-time delivery are what every vendor should aspire to.

**★★★★ — Beth P, Sept. 2016**

> We bought our new construction home from Michael Stone Group on August 2016. We are very happy with the high quality of our new home.

**★★★★★ — melissaberman10, Sept. 2016**

> Michael Stone Group built our home, which we moved into in September 2014. We are so happy with the house and enjoyed the process. We learned so much about building and felt very informed every step of the way. They were responsive to questions and concerns throughout the process and and remain in touch with us today. We would definitely build with them again!

**★★★★★ — Lisa Peiser, July 2016**

> We used the Michael Stone Group (MSG) to build our new home. From start to finish they have been excellent partners from the architectural design process through the build. The team at MSG is easy to work with, accessible and responsive. Please note that we did employ a designer to help us with the majority of the selection process. Would highly recommend the Michael Stone Group.

**★★★★★ — deer2, March 2015**

> We hired Michael Stone Group to build our "forever" home. Deciding to move our family was a hard decision. In order for it to work, we needed the location, timing and cost to all fall into place. From lot selection to the punch list after closing Ryan and Mick were engaged and focused on our goals. The cost of the project was clear upfront. When I brought up a change after the project start, I received the cost and timing considerations needed for me to decide whether to do it. The vendors Ryan and Mick use were knowledgable and worked with me to get the look I wanted and within my budget. The tradesmen onsite were friendly and experienced in their trade. When I was stuck making a selection Ryan and Mick listened and had suggestions to help me. I never felt on an island trying to figure things out on my own. The Michael Stone Group made the process of building a home pleasant and relaxed. Thank you for our beautiful home:)
