A: Hello! This kitchen is 11' x 7'

What is the color and wood used for the island?

A: The island is done in a stained Walnut with a matte sheen to the finish.  Its slightly darker than a natural walnut.

What material is the backsplash and counter top?

A: This beautiful installation of Calacatta Marble and was done for a four apartment multiunit housing project in manhattan. Calacatta Marble was purchased in 3/4" thickness for most of the job and mitered up to a 2-1/2" thickness for the countertops and the end of the peninsula has  mitered waterfall vertical panel of Calacatta Marble.

A: Quite funny about the backsplash this is something the client picked up independent of me - and shockingly she got it at Home Depot - unfortunately she didn't have a name on what it was she purchased.  Sorry I can't offer more details. Joy
