Virginia was knowledgeable, efficient, responsive and easy to work with. Her attention to detail was amazing! It was a very pleasant experience and we were happy with her design and the quality of the Brookhaven cabinetry for 19 years. In 2020, we enlarged our family room and relocated the kitchen into it. We would not have considered anyone other than Virginia to help us with this project. Even after 19 years of much use, our cabinetry was still in good shape. Virginia designed a new kitchen for us and was able to repurpose the majority of the cabinetry while adding new Brookhaven cabinets to complete her design. A: Good morning, This is finish is called Vintage Jasmine . It is a multi step hand glazed finish created by our Wood-Mode cabinetry. **Q: Curious of the flooring color in the picture** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Thank you for your interest. Unfortunately, I don't have the answer. I believe the floor finisher used a combination of a couple stains. **Q: countertop thickness** *(in Photo Questions)* Is it 2cm or 3cm thick? This counter top material is 3cm Caeserstone Statuario Nuvo. **Q: Would love to see this kitchen in person** *(in Photo Questions)* I live in Highlands and I am thinking about this very stone. If owner is open to it, I'd love to visit and see this. I have heard pros and cons about this stone but my husband and I can't find anything else that we are as happy with. A: This stone varies in not only colors but patterns that you really need to look at the supply yards. This kitchen is about 3 years old and the Fantasy Brown of lately seems to be darker. Not nearly as much white. It's all natural so depending on the origin and how deep into the ground makes all the difference in the world. **Q: Terra Bianca holding up?** *(in Photo Questions)* What a beautiful kitchen. How is the Terra Bianca holding up. Can’t get a straight answer on whether this is marble or quartzite. I’m looking at the leathered look and have viewed the full slab. A: I understand the confusion that surrounds this stone. One supplier says it's marble, another granite and others say quartzite. I cannot give you "the straight answer" but I can tell you that I have never had a client complain about this stone, especially in an antiqued or leather finish. If you check out the pictures of our Spring Lake House Kitchen 1, you will see a darker antiqued version of Terra Bianca which is also know as Fantasy Brown.
